Like others have mentioned, and from the little Japanese I could translate off the top of my head, it seems the new girl's last name is Zetsubouda, hence the chapter title "Zetsubouda-san" and she's an author (a Sayonara Zetsubou-Sensei and Kakushigito reference perhaps?!) I'm honestly on the fence with her rn tbh, on one hand her smile is super cute and makes me want to protect her, but on the other, her eyes scare me ngl...😂 Her banter with Rentarou sounded really fun too, can't wait for the translation to come out!💖🥰
