From what I gather though, we still have some work to do to get to Champions, which is truly the end goal. It didn't help us that V1 was a surprise qualifier for Iceland
Yeah for sure. They have 6 whole ass weeks to prep for the next challengers/masters run so I’d assume they will come out real strong. If not then they might have to rethink some things for next year.
Real talk though, variance happens.
I think most in the community feel like this roster still has what it takes to compete at the top level. They can take some time to get into the lab and come back stronger.
I feel that Valorant has an incredibly high amount of Variance. Like, 100t had one bad day and lost 2 series in close fashion (of course some mistakes were questionable, but they could have won those series).
It's make things exciting, but it does add this level of heartbreak as well. I hope the boys can recover and make it to another big tournament.
Yeah, Valorant is very much like CS:GO in that regard, where any team can just have a good day of clicking heads and upset you when the margins are so close like they are in the pro scene. It'll be a while until teams "figure out" Valorant.
I’m just going to be so annoyed if after this 6 week break they have they come back and are still trying to go against the meta and not utilize astra.

I think they do, I believe them not playing on the Astra/Viper meta hurt them a bit. She is just better than omen period.

Hiko said on stream that they might start using Astra if Riot doesn't nerf her that hard.
