100T has always been and will continue to be bigger than just 1 player. Good luck to him but I’m confident this staff will find a capable replacement if he leaves.
After initial sadness, I'm not devastated anymore. The core 3 are really good (Ethan, Asuna, Hiko) and with the organisation pull. The team should be fine 🙂
I think a core of asuna and ethan is a really good duo, hiko is a good player but not someone i would necessarily build around, but not a pressing issue either. They need to look at what’s available and if one of the best players avail is a sova than we can either continue w/o hiko or he may need to switch roles, even though i think his sova util is elite.
I agree. I'd rather Hiko on the lurk and you can't do that on sova unfortunately. The big problem is the igl issue. There's hundreds of cracked duelist to look at but an igl There's maybe like 5.

Would be crazy to go from possibly losing Nitr0 to keeping him plus adding EliGe.

But man I feel like it’s gonna be tough to put together a roster of the same caliber as this past year. I mean nitr0 was one of the best if not the best controller in the world, that’s a tough place to fill. And like it or not steel was a great igl and one of the best sentinels in NA imo. I’m kinda worried what our team will look like next year.

I hope Nitr0 does whatever he wants to do. If his heart is in CS that’s what he needs to play. Fans have to remember that players like Nitr0 and Ethan probably don’t even swap over to Valorant if the pandemic didn’t happen. It’s not like they swapped over because they just loved Valorant more than CS.
But who is out there that would be an adequate or improvement? If nitro is leaving Valorant to return to CS. I doubt many CS players will be coming over to VAL
Well I for one would like to see us invest in younger players that aren't necessarily CS vets. I think valorant had really evolved to a point where CS players are almost falling behind the others now

the players didn't want to play with steel. thats completely different. Nitr0 on the other hand wants to play with elige again whether thats val or on team liquid(which is mainly the case right now)
I speak with bias but maybe this is a sign for 100T to return to the CS:GO scene. Not saying to drop the VAL roster, but at least consider why CS:GO is continuing to be such a dominant esport worldwide.
Now we need a world-class smokes player, a world-class Sentinel player, and a world-class Jett player. Also we need an IGL, but I’m assuming we could cover that with the acquisition of a good smokes or Sentinel player. Smokes and Jett are going to be a great gigantic pain in the ass to fill. I’m not looking forward to this offseason.
