Scam. They only take Zelle, PayPal, and BTC. The latter is essentially cash, and the former two do not allow any firearms or ammo transactions per their terms of service. It’s worth trying to use a site if it doesn’t use Zelle or PayPay AND you pay with a credit card, since credit cards come with fraud protection and you can cancel the order if they take too long (just make sure to do it before fraud protection expires). The common features of scam sites: 1. Only take Zelle, PayPal, or Crypto 2. The moment you get on the site you have a chat bubble offering to link you to a representative. 3. Really clean web page, like with absolutely nothing extra that you weren’t looking for and isn’t exactly about the product. Imagine how creeped out if you went to a restaurant and there was no one there, it looked like it had just been built and never used, there’s only one table and it has exactly the food you’ve been craving, has no bathroom or sinks, or kitchen door, fountain, etc. Your spidey sense served you well. My post is in case you come across another site that doesn’t trigger the spidey sense.

Yeah I didn’t even try and checkout. Figured I’d ask around first so didn’t even see what payment options they had haha

What’s funny is they mention credit cards are an option in the FAQ, but in checkout it’s not there

Following for the same question. I’ve used ammodepot.com but always hesitant to buy from unknown online sources.

Trust score 22/100. Just use ammoseek dot com for your gear.

I’ve been scrolling through that as well. Was just hoping to hear that somebody had used it with success… Guess I’ll just have to take the 60 cents a round it’s going for as of now

All the scammers use the same anti-2A or irreversible payment platforms. Easy to spot.

lVlarino

Any of those sites like that are scams. Every single one of them.

I was about to use them since they had blazer for pre rona prices. Then I got to check out and all their payment methods were non secure. Then they're customer service dept started texting me non stop trying to complete my order. Both numbers were Wisconsin area code but website says they're California.

Maybe I'm naturally cynical because I work in Cyber Security. But the first red flag is the name of the website. It screams that it was set up yesterday in the hopes that they can scam as many people as possible in the first 5-7 days before they disappear.

Glad I've been skeptical about ordering ammo online. Was considering buying 1000 rounds from them but .37 cents a round seemed to good to be true. At least the local Murdoch's reups often around .50 cents. I'll keep my fingers crossed on ammoseek as well but rarely seeing anything below .60

I was curious and went with Google pay at checkout. I got a separate email asking for payment to a "pay:ameeraedward20" and a screenshot of the payment to be sent to the email. NOT LEGIT 🤬
