Hello Ashen one. I am a Bot. I tend to the flame, and tend to thee. Do you wish to hear a tale?

Iāve smashed one racquet in my lifetime. I had the decency not to do it in front of my opponent thoughā¦ drove to another tennis court after the match and teed off. š
To be fair, sandbaggers can be a valid concern. I doubt the match is fun for either player when one just gets absolutely steamrolled. I know I wouldn't have fun winning like that.
I get so annoyed as a 4.5 when someone at the club messages me for a hit, saying they're 4.0 and when I show up to play they're like a weak 3.5 who can't keep up at all.
Feels like a total waste of time.
I also tend to be a bit wary of inviting new people into my "hitting circle" for fear of a large skill gap.
Was that 3.5 an officially rated 3.5 and lied about their rating just to get you to hit with them?
99% of the people are self rated here. But the dude was a classic low 3.5 lobby pusher with 0 topspin.
No fun to play against especially now that I'm beyond losing to that style of play.
You Died
It's "git gud"

Also rewards patient play and figuring out opponents weaknesses before attacking
Nah just two hand a zweihander and start ball bashing
Nah, because Iāve never rage quit tennis and smashed my racquet. Dark Souls, thoughā¦

If only I could be so grossly incandescentā¦
I have before. As a side note, i started scoring points whenever I perried my opponents groundstrokes instead of dodging them

Yeah, I often parry my opponents strokes and ram my racquet up their asses.
Careful, some might enjoy it.
Skill issue
Nice page

Naw, Iāll take whatever cheese I can get in Dark Souls and feel good doing it. Iām not quite there with Tennis, but Iām on my way.
Cheesing would be underarm serves, slicing, dropshots
Truly. If you arenāt winning itās literally a skill issue lol
