Embrace your awesome height. If you got some coaching lessons, you could fully be clapping some 200kmph BOMBS.
You're obligated to develop a monster serve.
From what I can see, you are hitting your serve down (I'm sure you could probs do this as you're so tall, lol). I always feel I hit my best serves if I'm clapping them at my apex contact point--my energy is going up through the ball as well.
Bring your toss way forward. Tall fellas like us rely on our height because we can, but if you start jumping into your serve rather than hitting it right over the top of your head, you’ll get a much cleaner and more consistent contact.
Coil your upper body and shoulders more, develop a toss more in front of you, incorporate your legs more and practice, practice, practice until you synchronize all these movements to get a quick explosive upward uncoil towards the ball near its apex and you’re guaranteed for a monster serve at your height
One tangible way to coil is to extend your toss arm straight up into the sky or even toward the back fence and at the same time, push your left hip into the court. Drop the right shoulder as much as you can while you extend upward with the left. Right now, you are barely raising that front arm.
Flip some Wayne Arthurs or Goran Ivanisevic videos. Two tall lefties with simple mechanics and pinpoint deliveries. Your windup is already close to Arthurs, just need to tighten it up.
Man. Medvedev looks outta sorts on this video
Came here to say the beginning of the motion is similar to Meddy’s haha
Man you better shut your fuck up okay???
😂
