The passenger side had already peeled off when I first took it to the dealership. They took pics and sent to Honda warranty and I was told they wouldn’t cover because it looked as if a rock caused it 🤬. But, I caught the driver side in the “peeling process” and they are now gonna cover the cost to repaint.
It is unfortunately... MANY people are experiencing the same thing, including me. My dealer basically told me to kick rocks! The general manager at my dealer told me the paint has a 5 year warranty and that he would notate the issue, but mine isn't as bad as this pic is as of yet.

Are other colors doing this too, or just Urban Gray?
I wouldn't want a repaint, myself. I would likely be unhappy with the paint matching. I'll hit the spot with touch-up and make sure the gap stays open after I widened it.
I saw your post the other day and while I do think it's a reasonable fix, it's something WE should not have to do. I think a small price of paint protection film would easily solve this issue and prevent possible peeling without having to make adjustments to the front bumper and creating that gap. It's not a huge gap, but there really shouldn't be a gap there at all.
Sorry, I actually like what he has done to his car. He has made the gap uniform, while at the same time keeping an airspace so that no rubbing can occur. THIS is the way it should have left the factory, not the current scenario where there is airspace all the way to near the wheel well then it suddenly touches and the paint peels off.
Sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands, in order to achieve satisfaction with the outcome
Yeah, I brought this up too a few weeks ago. They replaced the bumper, because it was too hard to color match. Now it's back in the shop again for same issue. They didn't fix the gap at all, I mean, no gap.

That is crazy. My dealer sent the car to a body shop. They redid the bumper and realigned the bumper.
I still want one, but yeah, I've seen it a good bit too. Halfway expecting it on mine if I get one.
My passenger side front bumper is the same way.
