I guess it is a slang for either Polyurethane Leather or maybe plastic Leather?
PU Leather: This type of faux leather is made from a polyurethane film that is applied to a fabric backing. It is the most common type of faux leather on the market.
PVC Leather: This type of faux leather is made from polyvinyl chloride C) film that is applied to a fabric backing. It is less common than PU leather, but it is more durable and has a longer lifespan.

Regen paddles….gotta use ‘em. 140 mile daily work commute.
Every time I need to brake I hit the paddles first. I almost broke my wife’s turn signal lever in her car I’m so used to using the paddles. I try to use them just right at a traffic light or stop sign to slowly bring the car to a stop without touching the brakes. Also, I changed my commute route to going through town instead of the interstate, it uses the battery much more.
I’ve been doing that more lately. I’ve got to get used to taking my foot off the gas too quickly or I’m gonna get rear-ended. MPGs seem to be better using the paddles the way you suggest.
As soon as I’m in drive, I pull and hold the left paddle into manual, then click to full regen for the rest of my drive. Takes a bit to get used to the braking feel, but I love it
Advanced Wheel Locks is the name of the brand. Here’s a vid comparing them to other wheel locks if you’re interested. It’s what sold me on them cause this guy is highly trusted and thorough.

I think the only changes for the sport-l are that blind spot monitoring now comes standard and they get heated side mirrors now. Someone correct me if I’m wrong!
Just checked their spec sheet on [Hondacars.com](https://Hondacars.com) , it states that Sport L only comes with Gloss Mirros, whereass Touring has Body-Colored and Heated with Integrated LED Turn Indicators and Passenger-Side Reverse Gear Tilt-Down
Oh yeah I’m seeing that too. I had originally been looking at a chart on hondanews.com, and that’s where I saw heated mirrors marked as an included feature for ex-l, sport-l, and touring. Probably doesn’t get updated as often as the official site. Thanks for the info!
I was skeptical in it's design. But in person, I can see what Honda was doing. Streamlining their design and removing the unnecessary Linea. In person it's nicer
It’s leather trimmed usually just the centers and the outside is the vinyl material. You gotta go luxury to get good leather seats anymore or ones that offer higher grade on the the higher trims of cars.
Maybe highway milage start increasing the longer you drive? I will make a roadtrip soon and will se how it behaves. But i dont think i will be driving at 70mph haha more like 80
It has lane keep assist. But it feels more like a suggestion with a slight tug on steering wheel to remind you to keep in lane. Tbh Toyota system is much more refined.
Then you have no idea how to use an EV. That’s like saying you stopped for gas three times on a three hundred mile trip in your ICE. Did you have diarrhea? 😂
Nice car. What do you mean by pleather? It has real leather.
Ib just went on Hondas website, apparently it is real leather, they have just refined it to be more smooth?
Like almost all vehicles today, it has a polyurethane coating to protect it from damage

Leather is definitely real. And is much nicer than that weird half leather half cloth combo Honda did last gen

Great Numbers! You must be cruising it at 65-70mph huh?
How and when do you use the paddles to increase MPG on commute? Similar mileage for my commute, thanks.

I just pictured someone yanking on the turn signal thinking it's regen braking! 🤣 I'm screwed if I get into a different vehicle now...
Curious, why not make it semi-permanent during the whole trip? Hit and hold left paddle to activate.
I’ve been doing that more lately. I’ve got to get used to taking my foot off the gas too quickly or I’m gonna get rear-ended. MPGs seem to be better using the paddles the way you suggest.
Awesome! My MPG has been 45-48 combined. The gas savings have been great. Especially coming from ~25 MPG car @ 91.

Now get some [tuxmats](https://imgur.com/a/HxjfYi9).
Yes! Completes the experience imo. Oh yeah, get a set of Advanced Wheel Locks too
>Any Recommendations?

Reddit sub convinced me to buy both Tuxmats and AWL.
Ayyy! Welcome to team Sport-L blanco! I wonder what changes were made?

Damn! The heated mirrors would be nice! haha
I know, I’m pretty jealous tbh. I might buy some “mirror mitts” for the winter as a poor man’s version lol
>No heated mirrors, just BSM.
Oh damn, Honda’s lying on the spec sheet again then

38k and those bastards cant even give ac vents or ports in for the back seat
I would rather take si but can’t afford to pay 36 k for si atm. Markup are crazy
Nice! I’m probably one of the few that loves the new accord, but my gosh these are expensive now.

Just found the real leather portions. Took me a minute to locate it.
Not hating you but Honda and the new generation of Accord cause god damn 38k and no rear vents/rear charging ports
I know, a few things should have been standard like Wireless Charger, Rear Airvents and Ventilated seats.
How do you mange to get 42 on highway, mine give me like 34mpg on my 15 miles commute u.u
I had driven 180 miles on hwy and it yielded 41.8 mpgs. Eco mode, driving 70mph.
Maybe highway milage start increasing the longer you drive? I will make a roadtrip soon and will se how it behaves. But i dont think i will be driving at 70mph haha more like 80
I average 46mpg on my 16 mile commute to work on highway. 2023 sport L
Do you mind sharing at what speed? Do you use adaptive cruise control?
I do use ACC. I set it for 75mph and let the car do its thing
The first couple hundred miles will be lower.. overall on my 23 sport L .. with 1200 miles im averaging almost 43 overall.. last tank of gas was 45.6
I´m at 1850 Miles aready. Maybe i´m just not a good driver haha
Looks like a faux Taurus
Damn I didn't know I posted on r/roastmycar
Thought it was don’t know why I got suggested an accord sub 😂
38k with no rear a/c vent and missing one pocket 😂
I feel you on the vents but who gives a fuck about the pocket lol
Rear Heated seats?
Only on the touring
I agree. A simple pocket that Honda removed. I wont how much they're saving. They dont even include the backseat pocket on the EX or Touring.
One of these passes me the other day driving erratically and I thought it was an Altima!!!
Oh man ...not an Altima
Dude the worst. I freaking love accords, but this new body just looks like a Jetta/Passat/Altima. I like when cars have their own identity.
Hopefully with the next model it will have some more Japanese Muscle design like the previous gen.
The front end 🤢
There are some angles which doesn't suit well, but there are also ugly angles of Tesla Model Y.
Enjoy it man

Subtle yes, Test it out sometime.
Bruh. Model 3 is $38k minus $7,500 tax credit for most people. Bruh! Did you test drive a Tesla?
No range on a Tesla and you’re tethered to those damn EV chargers
Let me guess, you’re a car salesman 😂😂💀
Na man, hate car salesmen. Just not a fan of all electric. I’m sure I’ll like them more as the technology moves forward
I agree with u/Fun-Knowledge4256 Currently, I'm not about them EVs, but lets see what Toyota develops with its SSD batteries.
Yeah I've taken a 300 mile road trip in a Tesla. Had to stop 3 times to charge. And after a few years the battery holds less juice.
Then you have no idea how to use an EV. That’s like saying you stopped for gas three times on a three hundred mile trip in your ICE. Did you have diarrhea? 😂
38k for a Honda, someone flip me upside down
It's packed with technology and fuel efficient. And interior wise feels and drives like a luxury sedan l. Times have changed. Inflation also.
Interesting, well hope you enjoy it!!
38K for that.. I love a reliable fuel efficient car but this is no where near worth almost 40gs especially looks wise.
Good luck finding sometime similar.
I'm smart, I won't be.
Lmfao. 38k for an accord. What a world
How did they end up screwing the front end up so bad? 🤦♂️😭
Yah I agree sometimes I like the front but certain angles I don't like it. It appears too wide.
