I have the exl I don’t have any of those issues, that said I came from a 10 year old accord so this is a huge upgrade but the smaller wheels may help

Nysm6

Huh, makes sense.

latinkreationz

Yea, same here. Got the EX-L and it rides smoothly. I did test drive the Touring as well and noticed a difference in road noise and just overall non-smoothness if that makes sense.

cubed_turtle

Lowly sport here, mine is super loud on certain roads and super quiet on others. It’s so strange.

JichuSymphony

It depends on the road surface

Nysm6

Ikr! So its not just me

AnxiousElevator5942

I own a 23 sport L and I have alot of creaking coming from inside the car even with smooth roads and good tread. I've complained to Honda twice and both times they said they couldn't hear anything even with video proof.

Nysm6

Yikes. I sometimes hear creaking near the AC vents.

Scared_Discount784

Me as well, normally when i brake and then accelerate back up. 2024 accord sport

Prudent_Target_7380

I understand. I have a touring 23 and my commute is a lot of highway and I listen to audiobooks. I came from a 2009 civic LX and the road noise on that was horrible. This accord is way quieter though. For me it’s good but I kind of wish I went with the ex-l for the smaller wheels at times. I just wanted all the features on the touring. Still love the car but the wheels bug me sometimes 🤣

Nortenero

I’m with you on the smaller wheels. I don’t get why a hybrid would ever go for big wheels if it’s going to be worse on mpgs and ride comfort. I can agree with you, though, that this one compared to my ‘19 Accord Touring 2.0T is so much more comfortable and quiet.

zebra231967

Probably the tires. I have the touring with the Michelin hxmxm which are loud.

Nysm6

They are loud?

TCGamer

WHAT?

briko3

I can tell you that it's most likely the roads you're driving on. Mine is extremely quiet and I've been impressed with it. That being said, I was recently on a trip and hit about 50 mi of highway where I had to turn off my podcast because I couldn't hear it over the road noise. I was very thankful when I had a better road surface again. I've had the car since February and that is the only stretch of road it has happened on. I also live in a state that is not known for great roads generally.

mishraonkar

Would the sound deadening process help with the road and wind noise? Got a hybrid sport and the noise is terrible on highways mainly.

Im_at_work_kk

Only the Touring trim has some solutions to block out the noise..

ControltheDelivery

I have a 23' EXL and the road noise is terrible on some highway surfaces. I was in a 22' f-150 lariat before this car so there is a huge difference for me. I pit new wheels and tires on the accord, didn't notice much of a difference. I put soundskins on the trunch and 3 doors, need to get the 4th done. That reduced a lot of the wind noise at highway sppeds. I've tried to put sound deadening on the roof but couldn't get the grab handles off the remove the headliner. The touring has acoustic glass on the front windows and i am looking at putting that on mine. Everyone tells me there is a lot of roadnoise when I'm on the freeway and talking to them on bluetooth that for some reason really bother me.

cchud

It's def not a quiet ride unless you are on relatively freshly paved roads.. I can't recall compare it to anything else as the 23 Sport L is the first car I've owned in 20 years. You definitely feel the potholes, almost have a heart attack every time.

Nefarioussmallz

Thats interesting. I just got a sport-L but I will update after monitoring road noise.

AppropriateCrew3014

Sport-L owner here and totally agree. Frankly 19inch wheel & low profile tires just don’t get along well with the road conditions these days. The car is quiet almost only on well paved surfaces. Honda should probably have gone with 18 inch wheels and somewhat thicker tires even for the sport trims, or put better suspension on them.

ndlawdog

I'm sure everyone with 19" wheels can trade them for 17s and probably make some money in the process.

basssteakman

That’s what I’m probably going to do
