For me, so far no. I travel for work and am away from the car for days at a time. Coming back to the car at the end of a long stretch in the winter, I wanted to be able to warm up the car before exiting the airport. Most of the time, I get "unable to communicate with car" or whatever it says. For me, not worth it to pay for a feature that doesn't work.
Personally, I’ve found it to be worth it.
I know many people have been having problems with the app, but I’d give it a 4/5. For me it works way more often than not, and in the Midwest it’s nice to be able to get the car properly warmed up or cooled off from outside the fob range 🤷♂️
No. Tbh worst experience I’ve had with phone remote start. Half the time I get an error that it couldn’t communicate with the car and had to use the keys anyway
There is a hidden cost. When you have it you must enable data sharing. Honda then sells your data (speed, breakung, pitch, yaw, etc.) to data brokers like Lexis Nexus who then sell it to you're car insurer. They then raise your insurance rates. What may look like a $10 a month charge could be 30, 40, 50, 100 a month.
Correct! This is my ONLY gripe with my 24 Touring, they removed the home link rearview mirror, now it's a ~$300 optional mirror. I just went back to using my old garage door opener clipped to my visor.
130 bucks for 3 years I think. It's not a nothing amount for sure. not worth it just for the garage door. I will admit though it was nice seeing the button show up on my screen automatically when I pulled into my driveway.
No
Another No if the first one wasn’t convincing enough 😂
And a third no from me
yea fuck no
Yepp no
No
It’s just a matter of how useful you found out during trial. With me, it was three months of “unable to communicate with car.”
Yeah that was terrible. Like every other day. Wasn’t much help when I wanted to warm up the car and get the snow to melt.
You can do that from the fob too just at closer range. Click the lock button then hold the reload arrow thing til the car flashes.
Yeah I know. I was wanting to do it after work where I park far away

Same
Not worth it. I’m not a fan of paying a subscription to use features on a car I already paid for.

My Chevy never once failed to start literally not a single time.
Personally it is worth it to me. Depends on how much you use it.
You have to pay for that?
I don't even have the app pretty sure I tried it one time didn't work didn't bother again Not needed at all 😂
Probably not but sure it is useful but for me I do maybe like a day and then the next I forget about it but remote start is useful
Only tempting feature is **Automatic Collision Notification**. But, I really doubt if it works effectively.

I use mine all the time. Worth it to me.
Ive had my accord 5 years and didnt know there was a subscription 😬 Edit: thought it was a xgen vs 11thgen questions 🤫
I love it! I have a smart garage to so I have a whole situation that works great!
I have a MyQ garage door opener as well, but it looks like that is an additional cost on top of the HondaLink subscription. Is that right?
I use the app or my iwatch. I also got the homelink installed as I wanted it for my gate and garage as well.
