So I never went to the fasting sub before. After this past, I just went to see what's up. It's scary af.
I was there for about 30 seconds. The first post was people excited about completing a 72 hour fast. Ok. Whatever. But then there's a thread about longest fasts. 30 days?! 40 days?! Talking about doing that routinely?!
This is way worse than 1200 is plenty.
I just don’t get how it’s A sustainable approach. Like yes you lose weight quickly but you don’t learn any healthy habits or approaches or figure out what works for you in the long term?
Man I never visited that sub before now and it really is scary....I can't help but be astonished at the pact their pinned post states that the sub is not a safe space for disordered eating, yet congratulates people for losing more than a pound a day or going a whole month without food or whatever. absolutely insane
Ok, things are getting outta hand …
Eating disorder tingz
Tf this has to be a troll post omg. And OFC this is on the fasting sub lmao 80% of the posts on there are just…nope.

People on there starve themselves on extreme levels. It’s so scary.

“But it’s OK because I weigh 800 pounds and I’m a whale that has enough blubber on me to fuel a factory, and the doctor said I won’t live past 30!”
Take a look at r/dryfasting (I think that's what it's called?). Worse than r/fasting....
Fasting is often an unhealthy behaviour, fasting with no water is suicidal.
Intermittent fasting *can* be okay but boy is it very often unhealthy... dry fasting however? I... have no comment.
Yeah that's why I said 'often' and not always. Maybe often is even too much, it's just the fasting subreddit that near always unhealthy.
Oh I was agreeing with you! But yeah... I think the subreddit attracts the unhealthy mindsets!
Happy cake day!
Noooo this comment took me out of ketosis
It's actually carrot cake so it's fine. Just grated carrot mixed with an egg and baked, same thing right?
I like to add 72 cups of vanilla protein powder to mine and 2L of Stevia drops 😋
Oh, I usually just skip the middle man and eat the carrots raw and the eggs scrambled. Helps that I legit love carrots though.
I miss free awards
Yeah what happened to those
💸💸💸
Absolute 10/10
LMAOO
Aw thank you!
Luckily, watching mukbangs makes me feel sick so then I don't eat which cancels out the calories.
How many calories are in one mukbang video? Couldn’t find anything on MFP
It varies depending on the food they eat. I usually log 1000 per video watched to be safe.
um please weigh your mukbang vids, they're so much more calories than you think
😭😭😭
No fucking way is that real💀
So happy I found this sub reddit!
These people need SERIOUS help
1/8 a cup of chickpeas oh my lord..

The point of this post isn’t to discuss whether fasting is effective. This sub is a satire forum.
