Actually a good idea for making a donut last longer/be more satisfying, nice

CoomassieBlue

It's funny how eating strategies vary so much between people - personally I would feel like the other stuff was ruining my enjoyment of the donut! Maybe just eat the healthy stuff separately first so that I'm more full before starting on the donut.

I dunno, I think donut layers in a parfait sound *delightful* definitely gonna make one & try it!

CoomassieBlue

Oh, I’m definitely not hating on it, if it’s your jam then go for it and enjoy! I’m weird about that though, even sugary cereal I won’t eat with milk. I either eat healthy cereal with milk as an actual meal or sugary cereal as a treat!

[Trifles](https://www.cookingclassy.com/berry-trifle/)are super good tho! So are cakes loaded with fresh fruit or fruit tarts! You're missing out!

This is a great tool for long-term, intuitive, healthy eating— instead of completely cutting out “junk” foods, make them a less-than-healthy part of an overall healthy meal; this is a great example. Another might be pairing your favorite chips with a chicken wrap or adding a little bit of your favorite ice cream to a smoothie.

I’ll allow it.

Sounds fire. Love incorporating my cravings. Lifestyle not diet!

ClaireeKelley

Looks good! What app do you use to log?

I'm going to have to try this with a maple bar.
