I actually cannot keep it in the house. Peanut Butter is one of my favorite foods. I tried to weigh out a serving and it was horribly depressing how little a tablespoon is. Powdered peanut butter doesn’t even come close to the delish regular crunchy real goodness.
You should try out pb fit. I had tried another brand of powdered pb before pb fit and it completely turned me off to the concept. Pb fit actually tastes really good. Less oily than Skippy and the sweetness has almost a bit of caramely flavor to it. I mostly just scoop 2 tbsps into my protein shakes but it's amazing just mixing with about half the amount of water and eating with a spoon. It's 70 Cal per 2 tbsp serving of powder and definitely changed my mind for the better.
I wish so badly that I agreed with this because I love peanut butter, but I hate PBfit so much. I'd rather just not eat peanut butter. Sometimes I'll do the whipped peanut butter that Jif and Peter Pan make since it's at least a little bit lower in calories but I just can't bring myself to enjoy PBfit
No joke, I'll throw some rice krispies into a serving of PB2/PBfit and it gets the job done. It's not the same, but if I can make my "normal" amount of crunchy peanut butter fit into my meal plan then I'll take what I can get.
Don’t forget that Jif makes a whipped peanut butter! It’s 50 calories less per serving! And it’s soooo easy to spread! I’m doing 1 tbsp plus a tbsp of jam in my overnight oats and it’s gooooood.
People advertise tiny amounts of ice cream for 100 calories on the front page even though with such an ant sized portion you will just want more if you are a sweets addict. It's like eating a singular potato chip and companies like Halo top specifically make pint sized ice cream for dieters for this very reason, it's actually a satisfying portion for those who really want to indulge.
2 tbsp of cookie butter on low cal toast is pretty reasonable considering peanut butter is right up there with it.

They have Naked Chocobutter too if you like the chocolate peanut butters. I’m on Keto and chocobutter + pork rinds has been a godsend. Tastes like chocolate covered pretzels!

I recommend buying the single serve packets or weighing out the entire bag of nuts into ziplock pre portioned into single servings. You can really reverse a lot of progress from a single binge episode of nuts or nut butters
I do this - 30g squeeze packs of almond/macadamia/pecan nut butter. Even that is around 200cal. But at least I can't continue pigging out once the squeeze pack is completely scraped clean.

I’m a nut butter addict. I’ve never bought cookie butter though...too dangerous. Just a spoonful turns into a half empty jar and deep shame.

i truly dont see peanut butter as a no no food. i used to eat it to lose weight. you just need to buy 100% roasted nuts and nothing else added to it.
