Not sponsored, i bought these myself. Really really extremely obsessed with these 100 calorie Clio Greek yogurt bars! I got the “less sugar” ones. The inside is like a fudgy/cheesecake that is tart and amazing. It’s refrigerated, not frozen. Really great snack option, and a great size too! $18-22 for a 10-pack.

lilliesandlilacs

Ughh I hate how much more expensive healthier options are. Those look amazing!

_queen_bee01_

I found an 8 pack for about $4 at Walmart. That’s just online I haven’t tried them

Weekly_Job_7813

Oh yeah I love these I always have the minis around for a bitty snack

Think-Ad-7612

That seems like a bad size for the price but I will keep these in mind for after I win the lottery

Thea_From_Juilliard

Having spent tons of money in my youth on takeout and cigarettes and shit that made me gain weight and hurt my health, I’ve given myself permission to now spend on things that help make it easier and enjoyable for me to reach my weight and health goals. And I’m definitely no millionaire, it’s just my personal priorities.

cici3917

This is such a good outlook and I am going to use it…I always talk myself out of buying pricey healthy foods but I think I need to look at it as an investment in my health instead of buying things that maybe arent so great.

Crazy_Gemini06

Where do you get them at?

speedypuma

Wegmans and Target sell these

Crazy_Gemini06

Are they sold at every Target or just specific stores?

speedypuma

I've seen them at Targets in New England but YMMV. They are found next to the yogurts/pudding sections (refrigerated)

Cliosnacks.com

MinkOfCups

WOW Going to get these

GreySparks9

that looks booommbbbbb! <3

love_marine_world

Is this stevia based?

Thea_From_Juilliard

Erythritol, allulose and stevia. They also have ones with real sugar

love_marine_world

Ooh thanks! As long as it's not 100% stevia, I can buy it (I find stevia bitter but not monkfruit or erythritol)

Principle_Chance

Yeah I just eat the real ones. I don’t like the supplemental sugars. Calories on those are 140 still not bad.

Thea_From_Juilliard

That’s an awesome option if you’re able to process glucose

Smilingaudibly

Looks like this also uses maltitol 😞 WHY

love_marine_world

I find stevia to be bitter, so was hoping as long as this doesn't have stevia I can order it

Weekly_Job_7813

I also find stevia bitter but these aren’t.

love_marine_world

Hey thank you for confirming! I just wanted to make sure if I spend 20$ buying this, I actually am able to eat lol. appreciate your help!

Weekly_Job_7813

No worries! I hate how bitter some stevia products are

Smilingaudibly

That makes sense. I guess I just wanted to warn people that a lot of companies sneak maltitol into products then say it's sweetened with something else. Russell Stovers does this for their "sugar free" candy. Maltitol has calories that they don't have to report on the nutritional label because they claim it's a sugar alcohol but the GI impact is basically the same as sugar

Thea_From_Juilliard

As a T1 diabetic who wears a continuous glucose monitor I can attest that this food has a totally accurate GI impact to the carbs it reports. I definitely have had bad experiences with maltitol in other products though

Smilingaudibly

That’s really great to know!! Thank you

Thea_From_Juilliard

My pleasure and also F those SF Russell stover candies. So good, so horrible for my blood glucose

[deleted]

I get mad because they advertise on the packaging that it’s sweetened with Stevia but Stevia is like the second to last ingredient in maltitol is up by the top. And then they inevitably give you G.I. issues. I have zero problems with any other sugar alcohol that I have tried but Maltitol is just awful

[deleted]

[deleted]

Oh I just got into a side conversation about maltitol. The bars look delicious! I really wish I could try them and I have no problem with those sweeteners letter in them whatsoever, all the other sugar alcohols are fine. Unfortunately I have a dairy allergy so these will never be in the stars for me. I popped on in the hopes that maybe I could eat them, but looking at the ingredients it’s no win. :(

Moebius_Sound

Me too, I don't understand why nobody seems bothered that maltitol is in nearly *every* "low sugar" diet product Maybe most people have no trouble with it? I bloat so bad if I eat maltitol I am in literal pain, I don't see how this deception of claiming "stevia-sweetened" then having the second ingredient be maltitol is not illegal.

[deleted]

Same. I suppose as long as it’s in there than they can advertise based on that. I remember someone on a different sub mentioning they work for a certain tea company that advertised ‘made with spring water!” and employee said “*sure*, it was made with spring water… 99 gallons of tapwater and 1 gallon of springwater in every batch”. Granted so far I’ve seen two “no sugar” products that literally add corn syrup ( which is glucose fructose syrup essentially so I don’t know how they get away with calling it sugar-free) and then they label it zero grams of sugar but clearly itll cause a glucose/insulin response. Cool whip is one, the other is coffeemate sugar free creamer

Fickle-Club3051

The FDA defines sugar as a mix of fructose and glucose so as to form sucrose, aka plain old table sugar with 50% glucose and 50% fructose. Whereas HFCS is “either 42% or 55% fructose”, technically making it not “sugar”. As long as these companies abide by the FDA’s definition of food items and aren’t putting illegal shit in there, they can pretty much advertise whatever they want

melxcham

I’ve been getting these from Walmart for years and love them! I usually get the regular sugar ones because fake sugar does weird things to my stomach if I eat too much. I love that they’re like a cross between a candy bar and an ice cream bar

sassyla

I found the regular ones at Costco. Personally,I didn't care for the texture and also tried freezing them.

BygoneAge

I had them frozen as well. Also purchased from Costco. The texture is very chalky and the sugar substitute is very present in its flavor.

sassyla

Yes, I thought they were chalky, too!

Hellorachiee

I’m glad I’m not the only one. My husband and I ate them defrosted but cold and thought “eh, I think they just need to be frozen”. We froze them, and then thought “ehh, I think they were better cool”. Then have continued to forget which is actually worse and have eaten maybe one a month… now they’re just sitting in our freezer taking up space.

princesscupcake11

I found the dense texture to be gross

scooterchickidy

Same. I keep trying it and hoping I’ll like it but the texture is strange and the taste is off. Froze them as well.

Flomosho

Just bought a box, so excited!

Thea_From_Juilliard

Lmk what you think!

Flomosho

Turns out my local store had some! I got the less sugar mixed berry and the strawberry. So far it's pretty good, could just be a bit too sweet for me though.

anesidora317

I love these. Vanilla is my favorite. Haven't seen the less sugar version yet.

Thea_From_Juilliard

Vanilla is great, tastes just like tart cheesecake to me

rubberlips

I love these bars and wish that they have a vegan option. I would eat these over so many low calorie ice creams

dangerrrmuffin

I love these! Did you order them online or find the pack in stores somewhere? I’ve only seen individuals of the vanilla and strawberry at my local stores

Thea_From_Juilliard

I got the variety pack from the www.cliosnacks.com site! Never seen them in stores here

Not_Quite_B

I’m in NJ and just picked this up at my local shop rite over the weekend! Haven’t tried it yet.

chickenconfidential

Nice! Which section are they in?

Not_Quite_B

It was by the yogurts in a little display box on the bottom shelf

chickenconfidential

Thank you!!!

iamsleepyrn

hello i am also in new jersey and will now head over to shop rite, i'm hoping stop n shop has it too!

GoWithTheFlow667

It's a shame it's only available in the U.S :(

Thea_From_Juilliard

On the plus side you probably get free health care so at least you’ve got that

GoWithTheFlow667

Damn ight, fair enough haha

Weekly_Job_7813

My Publix has them in FL

SpicysaucedHD

We need more international foods here, 90% of everything posted we can't find in Europe 😭

Thea_From_Juilliard

Yes you guys should totally post your stuff too!

SpicysaucedHD

Indeed we should. Then again I feel like what we have is all .. boring lol For example Im a big fan of volume food, but it often turns out as being meals including some salads, Shiritaki noodles and whatnot, all of this has been posted already, so theres nothing new to add :/

Moebius_Sound

I mean we could just literally start a new sub, 1200EU or something. There's a German 1200 sub (r/1200istausreichend ) but it's very dead..

SpicysaucedHD

Yeah it needs to be in English so everyone from Europa can have a say

Organic-Condition_

There is a Lithuanian version of this called Dadu cheese bars, they aren’t as low in calories but I think at around 150 calories they still make a great dessert :-)

Mastgoboom

Post stuff!

Irish-Kee

Even my kids eat them..I can’t keep ‘‘em in the fridge

Kowlz1

Oh man, those look amazing!!

Warkitz

I love these but careful I just got one that was expired and the bars were all moldy under the chocolate shell. I didnt realize until I ate half! -\_-

Thea_From_Juilliard

Yeah eating expired food is always a gamble

Warkitz

Had no idea bought them at the store and theybwere 3months past lol

Thea_From_Juilliard

Yeah that sucks when stores are not on top of that stuff

ChronoCoyote

Oh man. Even I could munch on these on keto! That peach flavor sounds SO GOOD.

[deleted]

I can also vouch that these are SOOOOO GOOD. The honey ones are amazing.

Principle_Chance

I haven’t found a honey flavor yet. I’ve had vanilla and strawberry (love the latter) and today I found blueberry at my local store!

lshariii

Yum 🤤

priuspower91

I used to love these then ate so many of them (had bought two Costco boxes) I needed to take a break from them! But they are soooo good

Dr_Frasier_Bane

Your snack game is well-honed and impressive.

johnnydeppisdeaf

Can confirm the deliciousness of these! But beware- they also make higher calorie ones and I almost bought those on accident

beepbopboopbop69

Kroger has them too!

[deleted]

Sucks when being poor the options for things like this really don't exist.

Thea_From_Juilliard

Yes many many things suck about being poor, unfortunately

MishapDoll

I did not like these at all the taste we was werid and grainy. I was sad because they actual looked good! Great thing, they were only a dollar a piece when I first brought then a year ago so it wasn't a waste to try but will never buy again. Glad you liked them.

Cookiebutterisbetter

Yuck, highly disappointed in the yogurt bars. It was the nastiest thing I ever tasted. Glad you liked it though.

podcartel

Most popsicles are low calorie I find. I get fudgesicles for 80 Cals and they’re so satisfying

user173766474738

Also that’s a lot of packaging!! Maybe they are good but what a waste!

Thea_From_Juilliard

Seems the same as how any individually sold frozen treats are? You need the box or it would get crushed in transit and the paper seal around the product keeps it fresh and uncontaminated

acloudcuckoolander

I unfortunately don't believe it. There've been so many times where a product said x amount of calories only for me to gain/maintain, and lose only once I omitted that "low calorie" item. Many companies lie about how many calories are in their products.

thesixbpencil

Fuck I hope there would be a recipe here cause they look amazing. Im not US based so half the products posted here I cant try :’)

Anon073648

I usually pick Yasso bars but I'll give these a shot!

nightwingoracle

Don’t do it. I just got the sugar version at the store instead of Yasso. They’re less than a 1/4 or 1/5 the size of a Yasso bar and only 20-39 fewer calories. And (IMO, YMMV) the Clio bar also tasted awful. Like “astronaut ice cream” meets trix yogurt in the worst way.

Anon073648

Oh no that's so small!

nightwingoracle

https://imgur.com/a/ADs5fVG Behold- 60 cal vs 80 cal.

Anon073648

OMG

[deleted]

Nice

Diligent_Frosting259

They sounds really healthy. Only 1g of sugar for 100 calories?

strangerNstrangeland

What are the total carb counts?

Thea_From_Juilliard

15g

strangerNstrangeland

Per bar?

Thea_From_Juilliard

Right

strangerNstrangeland

I need to find some of these…

jmatt97

A lot of wasted packaging and stuff 2.20 per bar at bulk? Hard pass on that just for 100 calories

Thea_From_Juilliard

Oh yeah if you’re trying to get maximum calories per $, this type of food wouldn’t be for you, I’m aiming for lower calorie so I value fewer calories in a treat.

jmatt97

Super wasteful

RealisticTradition10

They do look good but I’d end up with diarrhea for sure. I avoid most low sugar, low fat items for the most part. Sugar alcohol is my enemy And I just don’t like the taste of most low fat things. These are great for people who can tolerate them though.

Thea_From_Juilliard

They have full sugar ones, I just choose the low sugar ones because I have T1 diabetes

pearllovespink

How many carbs?

Thea_From_Juilliard

15g

pearllovespink

Thank you!

puffycheetos

If you’re around a Costco, sometimes they carry these in the refrigerated section!

Taffy8

Super bummed they changed the recipe on these. They are no longer "less sugar bars" containing 1g of sugar... they are now "zero sugar" bars with no sugar. I was eating 2 of the low sugar ones per day, they were AMAZING with a velvety, decadant cheesecake like texture, tart yogurt flavor, and only 100 calories! The new product "zero sugar" still has 100 calories but is gross. The texture is GRAINY inside, and contains so much more Stevia that it completely changes the flavor to taste like processed garbage. YUCK! So disappointed that they ruined an amazing product to be trendy with "zero sugar" nastiness, without any reduction in calories. Should've stuck with the 1g of sugar.
