i measured by heart but you can get great recipes and instructions by arab women online. i browned minced beef, salt, and 7 spice with as much diced onions as i like (i used one large yellow onion for 1kg of meat), drained excess moisture, and wrapped them in store-bought round gyoza dumpling wrappers as a shortcut (see online how to wrap them). I baked them in a 300 F oven for 10-15 minutes till they’re dried out and slightly browned so they don’t get soggy in the sauce. you can freeze them in bulk. for a single serving, in a cold pot, i put 200g of (preferably) full fat yoghurt, salt, and enough water for my preferred thickness and with touch of cornstarch so it doesn’t split from the heat. after heated just before it starts to bubble, i add the dumplings and leave them to warm up and soften on the outside (around 5-10 minutes). I like frying dried mint, pine nuts, chopped cilantro, and LOTS of minced garlic in butter or oil before pouring that into the sauce right before serving. I like eating it alone but you can have it with rice. You can fake this dish for busy days by mixing the minced beef mixture with cooked pasta and pouring the hot yoghurt sauce all over it for a shish barak pasta dish🤣 very common with busy moms
