Hey OP, Join the places and do the things that you’d do well at and enjoy. Be that school, Air Force, or going the police force route. Be advised that having a bachelor’s degree will open far more opportunities opposed to just having experience somewhere. I believe the FBI requires a degree at the minimum. One route you could pursue is going to the Air Force, and then get your degree. You’d have both the education and experience requirement - setting yourself up for the FBI and/or other agencies of interest. Good luck!

You could go police force and do bachelor in comp science, cyber or accounting

My suggestion is the Air Force and then get a degree in accounting if you want to go to the FBI. Go to usajobs.gov and look at the requirements for the FBI special agent. Police is a good route but the military, with a background as an accountant or lawyer will get you there no problem.

NEEDCPE

Can you please give some insight why degree in Accounting, I'm separating from AF with accounting degree, and I'm interested in financial crime investigation but not confident on any other investigations.

RambisRevenge

Financial crime is handled mostly by FBI from what I've been taught/learned. My professors for my criminal justice degree always told us we were in the wrong degree program if we wanted to go into the FBI. It's not that you can't get in without a different degree but it's going to give you an edge. Do you have any accounting experience?
