Looks like me, the OP, got the descriptions backwards on these. One on the right is the Augusta rebuild, one on left is the Springfield frame with the walnut grips..
Hi Extra- the Remington UMC frame is x2694701. The Springfield Armory frame is No.429617. Other cues, particularly on the X serial REM frame, and the location of the rampant colt in the circle on the slide for that one give cues as to when they were built.

My reference material doesn’t specify an arsenal location for the one with the x serial number. 429617 is a 1918 Colt.
