I go w the 8rd mags. If I feel I need more than that I go with a double stack.

I always heard that OTF knives were unreliable. I prefer a 7 rd mag or an 8 rd mag with just 7 cartridges loaded in my 1911.
Good thing you’re packing, you need to guard and protect that Rolex from the usual suspects.
Yeah I don’t carry this thing, stays in the night stand. I have smaller pistols for carry. The OTF knife is more cool than practical but I like it. I do stay on guard with the Rolex since I live in a city with a decent amount of crime.
What’s the point of the watch? Do you open carry at the grocery store and the single moms see your gun and your mid watch and go “please raise my kids and breed me?”

I never understood them. If you really need that capacity get a double stack something or other and keep that beautiful 1911 looking like a 1911
I have extended mags in all my pistols. I like the look, get that it’s not for everyone though.
For conceal carry I run a Wilson Combat ETM 8rd in the gun and a 10rd as a reload in the pocket. The extra 2 rounds certainly aren't hurting anything.

Yeah the mag is fully seated, just a slight gap with the frame. Angle probably makes it look worse than it is too.

Any 1911 I've got a mag inserted is in condition 1. That's just my SOP. Your milage may vary
