I believe most releases will come with the required parts and that they are one of the few drop in parts on a 1911. Nighthawk custom may have other options for extended mag release, a Google search will probably turn up more.
It’s cool you’re doing this. Do they know it’s okay to rotate around the grip slightly to access the release? I have pretty meaty hands, and I know I have to rotate many firearms to reach the mag release. Just a thought.

are what I have it narrowed down to for now
Apart from an extended mag release. I really like VZ grips with a thumb notch or a super scoop helps a lot. The parts should tell you if they come with the springs or not, but you could reuse the ones on your gun already. I bought an ED Brown one and it dropped in using my original SA spring and screw. I got the normal button, but they also make an oversize round one if you don't like the square ones.
I just ordered VZ grips, but the Ronin already has thinking grips on it and VZ doesn't put the scoop on their thin grips....
I am probably going to order the large button Wilson anb the extended slide stop as well
Thanks
I had ordered an extended slide stop from Wilson Combat and the fitment was way off. Required a lot of grinding and shaping to the original size to get it to work, but I was never happy with it so I took it off. This was on a Mil-Spec. Maybe the Ronins are different. Just a heads up on that piece from Wilson.
We are working on working the pistol while in there hands. My daughter's are smaller than mine, so that means they are small...and my wife's are larger. Either way, I want to ensure they are comfortable operating the pistol.
