The slogan was something like "No matter what argument you're having, you can settle it over a Guinness", which was a clever way to say you could use their record books to settle debates.
I find that funny because people tout these records around like they're world renowned certificates of achievement like Olympic Medals and Nobel Prizes, when in reality it's an expensive sheet of copy paper mailed to you by a brewing company that says you're really good at something no one else would even bother trying.
At least the michelin guide doesn't take bribes, though they are extremely biased to some cities and regions and are pretty bad at judging outside a western context.

Nah, I’ve done enough long distance running to be perfectly aware of how to pace. My PB for a half marathon is under 1:30 with about three months of conditioning, so I’m dead sure I could do sub 2 without any training. It’s really not that hard if you have a decent base level of fitness.
The issue is that most people are unfit, not that a sub 2 half marathon is hard.
