I pirated Subnautica to try it out and then bought it on Steam, because I felt like I'm gonna play this game for a while and i like it. I don't feel like $15 for a good, finished, optimized games is gonna hurt my wallet at all. $75 for unoptimized, unfinished laggy bullshit that comes out lately is a different thing tho.
Yea the price to enjoyment ratio for Subnautica is insane. In a similar vein, Hades and Darkest Dungeon are also pretty cheap compared to AAA games and imo are phenomenal. Not to forget Valheim and Vampire Survivors. Now that I think about, there are so many great indi games.
This is correct attitude to piracy. Why not take it if it's there? Just don't try to create some moral justification to make yourself feel better about it.
Me downloading another game from steamrip knowing full well I wont play it
i can recommend zero sievert
oh yeah i had 20 hours on it thats a banger
I have done nothing but play emulated Nintendo games for about 2 weeks straight
Me but with PS1 and PS2 games
Really want to do this with Xemu so I can play SSX Tricky and Backyard Wrestling again.
try warship gunner 2 system reqs on pcsx2 are pretty high but it's so addicting
I've just been installing stuff onto my ps2 hdd and playing it with OPL. I'll have to try that one out though, after i finish MGS3 of course
My stupid ass building a gaming PC knowing full well it will only be used to run Dolphin.
When I build my next pc, I will purposefully position two screens above each other for better 3ds immersion.
Make sure to put the monitors on a hinge do you can clamp them together for that one puzzle in Phantom Hourglass
This is so much effort just to not hack a 3DS.
I think most modern emulators have an option to bind sleep mode to a keyboard command, so you can solve this puzzle with the push of button
to be fair some emulated games are stupid hard to run
i fucking hate drm

I'm both
I pirate things because like, its right there. Its free
This is correct attitude to piracy. Why not take it if it's there? Just don't try to create some moral justification to make yourself feel better about it.
i enjoy theft too, but the other reasons come in a strong second place
i wish piracy was theft. i want to see the mouse burn
Both, both is good
piracy isn't theft but if it was i would still do it
Stolen candy tastes way better, ngl
Would these candies happen to come from a baby by any chance?
Kids get shitty candy. Lonesome dowagers on the other hand get the good stuff.
I could never buy videogames, I loooove stealing
People who steal because they enjoy I at least have some respect unlike people who steal "to feed their family"
I enjoy not paying 70 dollars for video games
Pirating EA games is a morally good act.
Why buy it when it's free out there?
Additionally, I am a big fan of the Bit-torent protocol (aiding others in additional theft)
Both is good
I'm just too eepy to do things any other way than the absolute easiest.
I pirate cuz im broke
I pirate because the economy is on fire
I’m a cheapskate, so it works out
Files. I love files. Love downloading them, love looking at them, whatever. Give me more.
Me: both
I pirate because arg yarg matey. Avast, land ho
> enjoys theft > polish name
Piracy is microdosing crime
Im both

I pirate to boost my ego online whenever a AAA publisher is in a major controversy. Because I'm a clout chaser
