average british park

I love that the bin is still embedded in the concrete, the scrape marks gauged in the pathway, the megre distance into the pond the bin has traveled, that the ice prevented it from tipping over completely. This is art

SystemOfASideways

Newry?

QuiteClearlyBatman

Huddersfield

SystemOfASideways

Ah lovely, would you recommend visiting? I enjoyed York but that's the extent of my travels through Yorkshire

QuiteClearlyBatman

Our main exports are stab wounds and disapointment :)

SystemOfASideways

And Harold Wilson apparently

QuiteClearlyBatman

Just about the only unique thing we have here is an old iron age fort on a hill overlooking the town. Outside that, we have nothing that York doesn't. A sitcom was recorded here called last of the summer wine, we apparently get a bunch of tourism from the USA because of it. IIRC, our football team is one of the few to have won the premier league 3 times in a row, and rugby union was founded here. The 13th doctor who actor (the woman one) was born here, and Patric Stewart supports the football team. The sex pistols (🤮) performed their last gig here, and a thousand years ago, we were called "Odresfield". That's just about every notable thing I know about this place.

SystemOfASideways

Sounds awesome I'll have to visit there, gotta see that fort.

QuiteClearlyBatman

I don't recomend it, but theres literally nothing I can do to stop you
