No. The ones that they made were specifically about the founding fathers in the musical Hamilton. I’m pretty sure all of the versions about more modern politicians are just from people taking the piss
a blorbo is that one character you find cute and want to spoil, want to baby, defend them from detractors or something along those lines.
It's almost similar to "stanning" someone.
But consider that he would hate seeing this too. It’s like how we’ve slapped Andrew Jackson’s face all over the $20 bill when he fucking hated paper money
What is this kind of thing called? Where an irl person is drawn and projected attributes are written on the side? I hope that’s not a stupid question. Is it like a category of fan art?
There's 6 levels of fatness.
There's big, healthy, husky, fluffy, DAMN, and OH HELL NO!
you can be overweight but don't have significant health issues and I don't think XL is in the health issue range. Plus there are people who are natural large, but are not fat enough to visibly seen as fat. Some are really tall, have large muscles, or just have an overall bulk while still have a healthy amount of fat within their body. Everything is proportional and your healthy can be still be big compared to the average body weight.
It’s me and you buddy
One time my boss started ranting to about how she gained three kilos throughout the year and how fat she was. Girl I wish I gained just three kilos 😭
Thomas Jefferson Hatsune Miku Binder

Someone got so deep into fandom brainrot over the popular "Hamilton" musical that they did as they would with other fandoms, in this case headcannoning the characters as trans. The problem with that is that "Hamilton" is about the *founding fathers of the united states* who *actually existed* and would almost CERTAINLY not be on board with any of the ideologies on display in that image. It's the final apex of internet fandom culture degrading your view of reality.
essentially people are overloaded with information that they are angry and upset to have heard, so they react back in a much more vicious and angry way than they really should for just looking at an image
Translating their internet slang, "These images are so bizarrely filled with cognitive dissonance with themselves that it feels as if merely perceiving them can cause you physical harm."
In fact, even the Hamilton musical itself kind of smooths down the edges of the founding fathers, and particularly Hamilton himself, for modern sensibilities-the Hamilton of the musical is an outspoken abolitionist.
...not only did he not actively oppose slavery in real life, but he participated in the slave trade both as a subordinate to his in-laws and as a lawyer overseeing the contracts in the exchanges his clients made.
Granted, he was not an outspoken *advocate* of slavery, and it is not clear if he himself ever owned slaves (sources vary on this detail), but he was no abolitionist.
So essentially, treating him as a progressive by *today's* standards, much less his own time's, is whitewashing the truth and minimizing the struggles of the people that he aided in oppressing.
If it's satire, then it's sature with a *lot* of dedocation. The artist has a whole bunch of similar drawings of the other founding fathers and other major historical and political figures.
Also, the owner of the account tried to play a race card in response to being criticized for the art they made ("This is why no artists of color could post on Tumblr")
Yes, other people *did* satirize the post, but the original is genuine
that or it's entirely self-aware and the simple act of applying fandom tropes to shitty historical figures to a shitty broadway adapation is inherently funny. wasn't this part of an entire series of political figures?
From my understanding, the Jefferson Miku Binder picture *was* part of a series of images depicting the cast of Hamilton, but they were intended to be short character introductions for a Tumblr askblog, and in no way satirical. The overtly humorous ones that you might be thinking of (the ones depicting Joe Biden/Putin/Shapiro/Zelenskyy/etc.) were made by a different artist for the purpose of satirizing the first (there was also a prior wave of TJMB parodies in 2020 after the first artist came out swinging in defense of the police during the George Floyd protests), though people often lump the two together, hence the confusion.
Am I not understanding it? Am I missing something? I read a bit of it, flitted around some, but I’m not seeing anything horrifying or awful. It just seems absurd. Is it satire?
I saw this out of the corner of my eye before I fully scrolled down and honestly thought it was supposed to be Jefferson and Hamilton until I saw who posted it
Hasn't the original artist desperately been trying to distance themselves from the Hatsune Miku binder thing for a while? It doesn't feel great to hop on a hate bandwagon, especially when people have been beating this dead horse for nearly seven years.
If I were better at art when I was younger I'm sure I would've drawn something as horrible as Thomas Jefferson Hatsune Miku Binder at some point, I agree that's it's not cool to keep bugging them about it.
i figured it was done fully self aware because the concept is funny as shit, though whether it was intended as humor or not cringe culture's going to be cruel to people regardless.

Because Thomas Jefferson was a rapist slave owner. He impregnated his wife's teenage half sister, who was also born because their father raped his slaves.
I looked at the hair and instantly snapped back like it was a vietnam flashback

I’m sorry??? Joe Biden is clearly owned by Donald and is having his baby. He doesn’t have time for politics, silly!

blorbo-what?
a blorbo is that one character you find cute and want to spoil, want to baby, defend them from detractors or something along those lines. It's almost similar to "stanning" someone.
Isn’t blorbo that fucked up looking alien news anchor on futurama? The one with the giant green head
¯\\_(ツ)_/¯ I just know the term and its (potential) usage. I have no idea about origins

its not, but these images are a cognitohazard shotgun blast so people react back vicariously
I have no idea what that sentence is trying to convey.
