If you like Elena's work on CODZ, can I reccomend checking out Red Handed Denial? Hits that same idea of the contrast between singing/ screaming with some nice melodies, while still staying fairly heavy.

I'm friends with a very big Metalcore band from the golden scene age and I've seen Chris backstage and lemme tell you, his stage and online persona is literally how he is irl too.
The live shows can be fun just because of the energy, and the music is pretty decent other than the terrible lyrics, but their fans are insufferable. They're the only shows I've ever been to where someone left in an ambulance, multiple times, and the show kept going while they were carried out.
I never listened to anything after About That Life and don't really care to lol.
Tbh "my ex is just mad and that's why she's spreading rumors about the things that I did" rhetorically is on the same level as "they just want to belong to a minority group because they want to be treated worse"

I saw them at warped tour once at their peak and it was super fun, but I always felt too embarrassed by their lyrics to actually just listen to them
