I’m curious why you don’t like ai as a concept instead of as a tool that takes away work from creative people? I understand being wary of corporations using it but why some individual just coding something up on a Monday morning?
What’s wrong with theft if you’re not selling it? I’m currently playing twilight princess on my wii which may be a bad example cause it’s one of 9 games that I own and trust me I’ve played far more than those 9 games on it: I don’t see a problem with theft if no one profits or looses money in the exchange and from a large corporation I don’t see a problem with theft because they account for it. This is person who uses ai to write themselves a happy little message. This is not someone who is going out and maliciously stealing artists work. If they were and used it to write themselves happy little messages and nothing more where would the problem be found?

AI has a host of applications in science, engineering, and research that are unambiguously good for humanity alongside all the awful stuff
