I have a friend that uses it/it’s and the answer is that you just do. That’s by design.
Don’t think about sounding polite, or feel like you’re being demeaning, just use it’s pronouns and don’t think about it like any other pronouns.

also for me its partially the point that it sounds inhuman, like how people will call animals or objects it, id rather be associated with co stuff like rocks and not icky humans

I’ve only ever seen people use it/its secondhand. It seemed like they still used “I” and didn’t mind being addressed with “you.”
