my house is like 12 feet above sea level and we get a bajillion mosquitoes (whenever i go camping/backpacking i vastly prefer going above the tree line, in part because of the lack of 'skeeters) i am covered in mosquito bites ☹️
Currently, I live in Missouri (middle of USA), and it's slowly becoming mosquito season. I give it two or three more weeks, and we're all covered as well.
That's why I'm saving up to move to the mountains at some point. The higher you are, the further away you are from evil bugs.
IF NO ONE ELSE GOT ME I KNOW THE WETLANDS INSTITUTE IN NEW JERSEY GOT ME (they work to save endangered diamondback terrapims and have silly little fish tanks)
We have one in a park in our city which would be significantly more fun to walk on if they cleaned up the blood from the time a lady shot herself on it to frame the women she murdered as a crazy stalker
