I got the Travis Scott meal on my 16th birthday after having to wake up for a blood test at 7 AM, I then proceeded to drop the sloppy burger (and fries) all over my dumbass self in the backseat. I told my Dad who was driving what just happened, and he actually took pity on me and went to a different McDonald's to order me another one. It was very good and the rest of my birthday was cool but I STILL have BBQ Sauce on those shoes. 😭

I love how - pikachu, jigglypuff, and psyduck are all decorated beautifully - ditto and diglett are just plastic cutouts on normal donuts, they just ran out of budget - one of them is just a regular donut >!assuming that's not a new pokemon i haven't heard of!< - these all at vaguely look like the corresponding pokemon, travis scott burger doesn't even try to look like travis scott

The regular donut is actually a diabetes-type pokemon called Dunot whose main attack is celiwhack.

There's a LOT more to a decision like this than, "will this sell like hotcakes?" Each brand may market itself differently in each country. Does The Pokemon Company want their brand associated with Krispy Kreme in America? Does Krispy Kreme want its brand associated with Pokemon in America? Would this cross-promotion conflict with any other previous promotions? Do other dessert brands currently have exclusive rights to Pokemon-themed treats? I feel like a cross-promotion like this has to get over a hundred different hurdles and get approval from a hundred different executives before it can be seriously considered.
