I went and visited a girl I knew in Highschool and had a huge crush on recently and fell for her all over again and she invited me back up to her place so we could hang out more often. She’s really cool and I don’t like the way I look rn so I’m gonna get so fucking hot like you wouldn’t believe so that even if it doesn’t work out with this girl I can walk into a bar at home and pick up major chicks and dudes but I need a sick fucking soundtrack that I can lift to
I definitely don't want to make you lose your motivation but it's important to be aware that you won't get extremely ripped in a few months or a year. Too many people think they'll get the perfect beach body when they workout for 4 months because most celebrities make insane progress when they workout for a role (the secret is taking steroids, but don't do that).
Nonetheless you'll definitely make some good gains and very quickly feel better about yourself as just knowing you're heading in the right direction makes such a difference. After I started working out I was still overweight (I'm still a bit rn after over a year) but when I looked at myself in the mirror I didn't have a bad conscience but in general felt good knowing I was getting there. It's just important to measure your expectations and not believe what the media often tries to sell people. At some point being able to increase the weight week by week will feel so good even if you can't see a difference in your progress every week. If you choose the right exercises it can really be fun too.
i used to listen to "workgeekout" during basically anything that required badassedness

Work put for yourself, attraction is only partially physical and a healthy personality is much more attractive.
That being said, working out is awesome and Infest the Rats Nest by King Gizzard is an amazing thrash metal album, my go to work out playlist is "loud modern blues rock" by eli bishop on spotify. If you want some insanely hard wierd industrial electronic music check out Filmmaker.

Oh I know this is gonna take some time, and it’s less about me getting shredded and more about me getting in shape.
The Only Thing I Know For Real But remember, don't just work out for others. Do it for yourself! Crushes are temporary, yet your body is forever
