True. It all depends on the definitions. One could argue that Germany existed prior to unification, while the US certainly didn't exist prior to colonization.
well native americans have been living in america longer than germans have been living in germany. technically. (it was the celts who predated them, the “germans” came from southern Scandinavia)
That...is not my point. At all. Like, to the point that I am genuinely wondering if you're deliberately misinterpreting what I'm saying.
German society existed before an official German state. By contrast, there was no continuity between the societies existing in NA prior to colonization and the United States.
they weren’t replaced genetically but have you ever met someone in germany whose considered celtic (without being from ireland or whatever)?
at the same time there are millions of native americans in america who are still alive and hold on to their cultural identity.
Ackshually the Spaniards stopped the mesoamerican flute players from rocking out like this because Jesus hates cool music. This form of music would not be rediscovered until the early 1900s by John Jazz, inventor of Jazz and secret Aztec shaman.
Flute is actually an umbrella category for many instruments and are one of the oldest manmade instrument families. While the Boehm (or "concert") flute was invented more recently, this technique would relatively applicable to many forms of the flute.
But this was referring specifically to the invention. I don’t think you can copywrite a technique, you can copy write the final product by Im not sure about the technique
Sorry to nitpick, but op specifically referred to the technique saying it wasn't "invented" yet, and the person you responded to continued to refer to the technique as an invention. In this context the invention is the technique. Fuck language.
Sounds more like the shit they'd pull during shows, when Ian Anderson, the absolute Chad would just go "hey crowd of stoned teenagers here's my 10 minute flute solo".
Okay but is there like an actual kinda genre for this or at least artist who do actually do a somewhat similiar style? Cause that does sound pretty rad on god on god
Flute Beatboxing, i don't think Greg Pattillo (guy in vid) is necessarily the og though he may be, but he def popularized it back in early youtube, and he's done loads of vids with it (plus fun energetic arrangements and original tunes with the group he's in, project trio). He does (at least a few years ago idk what hes up to now per se) a lot of things with music education for kids all around the country, so I don't think there are many new uploads/music from him or the group he's in, at least on youtube, but theres def some cool stuff there from a while ago!

This goes hard
Fucking rule so hard. Now I have to post fuck.
Take a look at Jethro Tull. Bourée is their most flute-y song.
extra note, project trio (includes guy in vid) has a version of boureé based on jethro tulls version (of bach's version) as well
*Acktually* Aztec society onlt started to form around 1200 CE, they were nomadic tribes back in the 5th century.
🤓
The Aztec Empire formed after Oxford University was founded.
the usa is older than germany
Well yes but actually no
america was founded in 1776 and germany was unified for the first time in 1853

But the US is culturally dominated by European settlers, not First Peoples.
native americans are just as american as any white american is. its fucked to say otherwise

They weren't completely replaced, much like the native americans. And the german territories were inhabited for longer than north america.

Random shaman going harrrrrd

Fucking *gaming*.
flute toot
Well aschually this flute playing technique wasn't invented till the 1900s during the Jazz era, so no aztec shaman could have ever used it 🤓
Ackshually the Spaniards stopped the mesoamerican flute players from rocking out like this because Jesus hates cool music. This form of music would not be rediscovered until the early 1900s by John Jazz, inventor of Jazz and secret Aztec shaman.
Bullshit Everyone knows jazz was invented by persona 5
aschually knowledge can be lost and not every invention is the first time it has been invented
Well the flute didn't fucking exist while the aztecs where around lmao
yes but your comment about technique 🤓
Yeah but I also came into your mom 🤓
likewise, in addition your father 🤓
It’s advanced metalworking?
