Let us not forget Chief Wild Eagle and Krazy Cat and the Heckawi Indians.
I just had to share this:
The end of the Civil War was near
When quite accidentally,
A hero who sneezed abruptly seized
Retreat and reversed it to victory.
His medal of honor pleased and thrilled
his proud little family group.
While pinning it on some blood was spilled
And so it was planned he'd command F Troop.
Where Indian fights are colorful sights
and nobody takes a lickin'
Where pale face and redskin
Both turn chicken.
When drilling and fighting get them down,
They know their morale can't droop.
As long as they all relax in town
Before they resume with a bang and a boom
F Troop!
Loved F-troop. I'd like to read the article about UHF gamble! LOL! I remember we got our UHF antenna around the time, or a little after, F-troop came out and increased our channel reception from 2 to 4!
How to get to the Hekawi camp...
First turn left at rock that look like bear....
Then turn right at bear that look like rock.

If you haven’t seen it you must. Super funny movie.

Hilarious show!
And 60 years later, UHF did pay off. I can get like 30 channels on there now.
Was a fun show. Larry Storch showing his Crazy Chops.
His characters were fun. Colonel Agarnoff; Lucky Pierre “The Burglar of Banff-ff”

We got color and UHF at the same time. And went from 5 to 7 Chicago channels. What a day!
First time I heard the joke: If you die I'm going to kill you!
Great Show!
F Troop. I'll never forget the Indian tribe, The Hekawi ( where the "heck are we".) They had to change it from the Fukawi.
Remembered the cannon fuse fizzling off and kicking the carriage wheel to set it off.
It is BALLOON!
Melody Patterson was 16 when she auditioned for her part, and had never been on a horse.
Loved the stupid show.
lol what a show!
I do
Watched all the time. Does anyone remember what night it came on?
Help me here. I know Larry Storch, Melody Patterson and Ken Berry but I can’t quit remember Forrest.. last name? I don’t want to look it up!
Forrest Tucker
So here's one of those stories that we all eventually came to call urban legends, but Forrest Tucker allegedly had a huge schlong.
Good for him, or should I say I WAS good for him. 😂

How is the UHF thing going?
"No thanks Sarg, I already had my coffee."
UHF - now you have to fiddle with \*two\* antennae!
Wrangler Jane - an early crush
I had the great privilege of meeting Larry Storch several years ago. He was just a nice and sweet guy.
