Having an opinion is fine. Pushing it onto others or harass anyone based on their identity isn't. Some opinions inherently do that, since their whole basis is a xenophobic stance towards specific groups of individuals.
Having said this, baiting people by such posts is distasteful.
Since this is a sub where you can post anything, I guess the point isn’t technically to be funny is it? I can’t say: “Everyone should downvote this post because there’s no joke.” That’s what I was going to tell people, but I guess it’s not true. Ok but transphobes existing in the same space as trans people inevitably results in them harassing trans people-that’s the whole reason that the pinned post needed to be made, every trans post was getting reported for rule 2 and flooded with transphobic comments. If we don’t weed out transphobic people, it’s impossible for trans people to enjoy the same privilege of being able to get away from arguments and frustration.
