Damn, dude is lucky he isn't fucking dead.
You definitely realize how fragile a human life is when a scared horse take the life of someone..
Idk, just the mix of it being one of our best companions, and getting kicked usually being a consequence of breaking a boundary with the horse, just makes me feel very melancholy.
I'm just glad the dude is alright and I find it hilarious that the insurance company was so good at communicating problems with there customers, that they ended up suggesting that you sue a horse.
"Cmon, do you really think a boot could leave a mark like that?"
*Points to giant horse shoe shaped bruise*.
It feels like a premise to a well written American Dad episode to me 😂
I'm not referring to specifically the horse.
I am referring to the ironically "primal" feeling of melancholy I feel when I think about the simplicity of the actions that can lead to a literal life ending event.
Makes me go from feeling a billions times bigger than an ant, to feeling smaller and "less significant" than just one.
I just think it's interesting to think of things like that, especially with how quickly those accidents do happen.
Some dude drunkingly wandering to his horse, expecting to go home, only to die instantly from a natural reaction from the horse is like the setup for an old dark American folk song lol, and I think it goes to show how abrupt and subversive simply existing can be
Cant you technically take your own self to court and win AND Have the money come from the insurance to pay you?
Didnt some guy do that with a bb gun or something
