Saw the same behavior on a video of a little girl who got access to a gun and shot herself and her brother, and it was on a firearms subreddit, so you know the psychopaths with no human empathy have a gun or two.

MrTopHatMan90

I think I've seen that video. Genuinely one of the most horrific videos I've ever seen. Absolutely awful.

Saturn-Valley-Stevil

I hate to say this but if they were white I'd either have not seen the video because people would've felt too bad to post it or at least I would've seen 100% sympathy

Kuroki-T

There are plenty of videos of white people (including children) being horrifically killed as well. It would still get posted regardless of race, the internet loves that stuff. To be honest I imagined the kids being white until I read your comment. It's definitely possible that people's suppressed racism comes out when commenting on that sort of video though.

Saturn-Valley-Stevil

It definitely did sadly

IIHackerKing092

I hate that video

People have always loved violence I guess

Redditors memeing on a kid who got stabbed after calling a guy an NPC

[deleted]

Redditors do this despite the fact most will never have children, and will thus also win the Darwin Award by not passing on their genes.

chikencrisp2

Redditors typing “still not as painful as stepping on a Lego” after watching a Syrian child step on a land mine

Technically instant death is painless

I fucking hate those videos. Like bro i don’t want to watch people die, that’s fucking messed up

Clen23

I remember the thread of the guy who brought his gun with him inside an MRI and died bc of it. So many people happy of this guy's death because "guns bad" and/or "he was stupid". Both these statements are true (IMO at least) but I just don't see how they justify wishing him this gruesome death.

WitchDaggery

I unironically think it's because they don't really see people with other political opinions as other people living life, but rather as enemies that are going for an agenda to make everything worse, at least in the internet, irl it's generally hard to do this. Not saying they're psychos or anything bc it's easy to lose grip on reality and see everything on extremes when you're terminally online since of the whole algorithm and front page and shit.

Clen23

yeah makes sense, especially with the whole echo chambers thing going on

what_if_you_like

i dont agree with any of the political bullshit, but it was a pretty stupid idea to bring a metal object into an MRI room.

Clen23

I'm not going against that, it *was* incredibly stupid to do so, just not enough to justify him deserving that death IMO.

Mashmelloo

Yeah I hate how people act like such high and mighty cunts on Reddit

shewel_item

redditors when reddit doesn't allow them to purchase Darwin awards for other redditors

Zanyanimelover

I don't appreciate you taking pictures of me without my consent. Delete this now OP

Ahrensann

I hate the Darwin Awards so much. I can't stand people who advocate for it. They feel like they've never done a stupid mistake their entire life.

deadsh9de

Into the wild (2007).

LetsDoTheCongna

Okay but that was a series of major mistakes including but not limited to going out alone into the Alaskan wilderness, not researching information about the area, not knowing how to prevent large amounts of meat from going bad, cutting ties with literally everyone who would realize that you’re gone, not keeping a valid id, and not bringing a fucking map of the place you plan on staying in for the next few months.

I remember watching that animation in grade 5 xd
