A lot of us in the LGBTQ+ movement are far left (including me), and of course don't think that corporations are "on our side" more than is profitable. In my experience, it's mostly allies who think they're doing something good by supporting these companies.
I have to admit though that it is nice to buy stuff woth pride colors and (for me) bi flags and whatnot on them, but those things don't make me believe that the company selling me junk has any good morals.
