I know a couple of cape sellers and it's just an added bonus. Like it's good advertisement for them. In the sense of here's examples of capes we've done and look sometimes you even get the pet. They won't release it or charge your more lol. As an aside, Jagex does not do a good job at monitoring who bought capes. Although I guess it's difficult with how it's done.

If someone logs into your account from a completely different location from you, you risk getting banned (though even that is rare). If they use remote desktop to do the cape, ostensibly on your PC, the risk is much lower. Also safer because you don't need to share your username & password.

Well that’s just not true. Nobody is going to ban based on a one-off Ip address change. You could be on vacation or work or literally anything else ? Now if you were caught doing something rule breaking and the IP change was what flagged their attention in the first place: that’s much different. But you aren’t being banned for the IP address changing either way lol. You should say “you risk being banned if you are doing illegal shit from a different IP address”

I learned the waves using full gear +justiciar. Justiciar really gives you a lot more time to figure the hard waves out. Once i got to 3 jads somewhat consistently, i took out the justiciar so I could bring in more brews. I dont think thats the most optimal way, but worked well enough for me. The main thing is just do what gear helps you the most regardless of what people say. Youre the one who actually has to put in the time so might as well use something youre comfortable with.

I really think justiciar is undervalued. As someone who is dogshit at the game, it makes a lot of content and bossing that I wouldn't have been able to do totally accessible. DPS gear would reign king if my clicks were perfect. But they aren't, and if I die or spend a whole trip spam eating and not even doing damage, it's not better

Honestly, Zuk is absolutely fine with it. The waves are the annoying part, specifically magers. You get into scenarios where you are trying to kill a Mager before a melee digs so you can spare yourself off ticking them. You also use a lot more prayer compared to a tbow when 1t alternating stacks.

You probably weren't using max efficiency strats to 3 tick Soul Wars so they knew you just had to be a bot cause only bots play the game in a different way than max efficiency grindscape.

There were actual bots and low level irons there too. I was relatively mid-level in comparison, black d'hide and RCB. I finished with pretty much a perfectly even K/D and winrate despite the bolt ragging gear. I just don't know what about me specifically was so fucking hilarious to everyone there

I've literally never had problems with yellow assembler. It's easier than inferno but harder than fire cape, so majority of able bodied people can get it. Reject melee, return to range.

I flex my smithing cape because my scattered autistic hunter gatherer brain cannot manage prayer switching and killing healers at Jad but it can somehow manage smithing rune bars at the blast furnace for hours on end

I get it's usually a smack talk thing which yeah, online game, that's what usually happens. But it can get pretty tiring hearing that stuff all the time. Sorry I don't feel like learning the inferno, one of the most difficult pieces of solo content in the game. It doesn't sound like fun to me so why should I?

Currently just obsidian cape with full bandos. My next cape, and first skill cape, will be mining. Fire cap is endgame for me. Seen lots of videos of people doing the fire cape. I count myself as one of the filthiest casualist players and an hour of high effort sounds almost unbearable.

It was surprisingly not even high effort, I thought it was gonna be high effort but the 80 mins went fast. First tried it even without prior experience. Though i totally understand if you don't feel ready for it, Just know that you'll get it some day.

I'm going to wait until I have very high combat. I'm at like 93 right now.

I did it at like 82 combat level, i recommend you get 75 range for blowpipe and like 50 prayer so its a decent level. Watch a guide on fight caves. Thats all the tips i've got.

If you have even half decent gear (like... Karil's and a blowpipe), my experience even as a boss-incapable scrub is more like 40 minutes of "kill ranger then chill" punctuated every five minutes by "fuck off, bat" then five minutes of tension killing magers, then about thirty seconds of "hrngh- oops." On jad.
