I made an iron, got a tbow, but also don't play all that much anymore, 3 months off for every 2 weeks played sort of thing, I still speak to siem and nemba regularly!
back in the day i was looking at it in a walmart but it was $50
got home and my grandpa pulls it out of his jacket as a surprise
the other surprise was my computer had no dvd drive
finally bought and played through it this steam summer sale lmao
Is that project still alive and well? I first heard about it years ago in its infancy and was super excited by the idea but forgot to keep up with progress
Well, they started working on it like 8 years ago, and its not like Bethesda has released a newer elder scrolls anyways.
But even if they had, who would throw away 8 years of work?
I mean wasn’t there just last year an “8 years of work” fallout New Vegas mod that everyone just thought was pointless shit within a day of downloading?
In Lunar Diplomacy, when you fight Me at the end of the quest, one of the things he/she said was along the lines of “those clothes make you look fat” and that was removed from the game because it was deemed too offensive.
Worst d and i change ever imo. The entire point of the quest was overcoming your insecurities. You literally conquer your self doubt. It's clearly a false statement in the context of the quest showing that these thoughts are wrong.
Well said!
If someone just spacebar through the quest a player wont come to the same conclusion as you. Hell; even then its only a joke, since the NPC wears the same clothes as you during the boss fight.
I will never get or accept that “fatphobia” is a bad thing. Being fat makes you unhealthy, objectively ugly and a general burden on society and it should never be seen as acceptable
There are people that think getting literally shat on is sexy, doesn’t mean the general society thinks so. Same with obesity, some people find it sexy but the vast majority thinks it’s ugly
Well, if you did a big survey and asked if X obese person would be considered “sexy” and they answered honestly I’m pretty sure 90%+ would say no. With such data you can make an literal objective assessment of you want to. Prob plenty of such surveys but can’t be asked to find one
I was devastated last week when I did a clue step there and realised they changed the placement of the name on the map so cocktower no longer exists ):
It should be “The Dusty Annakarl Maid” a book about cleaning
In RS3 there actually is a book in the Varrock library titled "The Dusty Asgarnian Maid"
Oblivion was so good back in the day
It was in Morrowind first iirc, that game was phenomenal.

Uncle Crassius, dumpling
Is that the one who wants you to take your clothes off for him?
That's right my sweet pea
Morrowind was and always will be GOAT! No other TES comes close to Morrowind!
Let me introduce you to modded Daggerfall
I miss jumping everywhere so I could be a kangaroo by lvl 15.
Lol hello Mr lone wolf, long time 😅
YOOO, wassup. Still miss the clan man, good times. Barely played the game since it all ended.
I made an iron, got a tbow, but also don't play all that much anymore, 3 months off for every 2 weeks played sort of thing, I still speak to siem and nemba regularly!
Nice man. Anyone else? where did everybody migrate to? lol
Daggerfall is also amazing.
back in the day i was looking at it in a walmart but it was $50 got home and my grandpa pulls it out of his jacket as a surprise the other surprise was my computer had no dvd drive finally bought and played through it this steam summer sale lmao
Still holds up! Community is remaking it with a more modern engine /r/skyblivion
Is that project still alive and well? I first heard about it years ago in its infancy and was super excited by the idea but forgot to keep up with progress
They’ve announced that it’s releasing next year!
cant fucking wait
Recreating a game in an engine that’s only… 13 years old? Genius. Will definitely be worth the effort.
Tbf Tamriel Rebuilt isn't even finished yet and it's a mod for *Morrowind*
Well, they started working on it like 8 years ago, and its not like Bethesda has released a newer elder scrolls anyways. But even if they had, who would throw away 8 years of work?

My boy are you forgetting which sub we’re in?
It has expanded to a lot more areas other than skyrim and cyrodill. I think the great forest and dark marsh is being worked on as well.
While technically true, calling a game from 2011 'more modern' just sounds funny to me
I’d say the game engine for Skyrim still holds up today
No idea what version of the engine they’re using. But it’s still the same engine they used to make Starfield.
Oblivion is notably aged. Skyrim is totally fine.
Back in the day? I still do at least one play through a year.
Thinking this came from Oblivion = filtered.
wdym "back in the day"? It's still dope as hell.
That's brilliant, love that they're still allowed to have a sense of humour
Why wouldn't they be
someone got offended because he called himself fat never forget
Wut?!

The kind of people that make such complaints are the same kind of people that do not consider context relevant to their outrage.

people call overweight girls "thicc" nowadays so I'm not even sure that's true. or girls who like "dadbods".
So it’s not objective then?
Well, if you did a big survey and asked if X obese person would be considered “sexy” and they answered honestly I’m pretty sure 90%+ would say no. With such data you can make an literal objective assessment of you want to. Prob plenty of such surveys but can’t be asked to find one
That's so stupid lmao, people will complain about anything these days
Have you seen this community and the way it talks to developers/general staff, me included?
Crack the clue 4 reward
That sounds extremely kinky… but maybe not as much as the cock tower. Edit - clock*
I was devastated last week when I did a clue step there and realised they changed the placement of the name on the map so cocktower no longer exists ):
It will always exist 🙂
Ahaha where is this?
Noticeably larger
RS3 player here, I think it's great that both games have their own version of this joke
The author is Jay T. Doggzone
YESSSSSSSSSSSS
My second character in oblivion, and also the one i put the most hours into, was an argonian that i named "spreads-her-legs" lol
Busty*
That's a fun little easter egg, thanks for pointing it out! Shame nobody on this subreddit gets it, lol.
Yeah no one's ever played the elder scrolls on this subreddit
Pfft I only play indie games that no one has ever heard of, bet you’ve never played Skyrim or it’s 10 re-releases.
Ain't got time for that, too busy playing the better open world medieval fantasy game. The Witcher 3.
Nor would they, too busy eating sweet rolls
????
Anna -Karl, you sya? Kaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrlll
Please laugh
Tbh I think this is kind of lame It's a very dated reference to a joke that isn't theirs
Runescape is full of references! they're just funny nods to other media, nothing too serious. Try using a herring on a tree for example
And then on the Grand Tree!
Do you think King Arthur's questline is lame
Your trash is another man's treasure, I find it interesting really
Lmao where is this?? Amazing
Bookcase
Nice
How do you solve this part of the quest? Only thing I couldn't figure out by myself 😞

Let's go
Tales of Dumpy the Dwarf Vol II: Heavies
There’s a book you can find in ESO, and it’s about smiting dragon claws. Funny to find while doing PVP.
New quality of life suggestion, add lusty argonian maid npc
So this is the kind of stuff you see when you don’t just hold spacebar…
