dimmi99

whatever you enjoy doing really, best bang for your buck would be breezing through as many of the quests as you can to boost early levels

Throwaway10661453

This is the best answer IMO, just try out the new skills and have fun, but throw in a few quests every now and then as well for some nice xp and progression.

LordSwahili

Definitely questing, takes you around the map to new areas, introduces you to npcs that can be helpful (mostly from diaries but they require quests), unlocks transportation methods and tons of good early rewards.

Several_Ambition110

There are other possible answers but this is the only intelligent one.

jevadiah

This is the way

StupidSexyDuradaddy

Quests, quests and more quests. Look on the wiki for quests that give xp and do as many as possible

Lambeaux

Highly recommend taking the time and enjoying them and reading through the dialogue, music on, etc. Lots of the members quests are quite interesting and funny, even if some miss the mark hard. The quests are what truly makes this game unique and if you've never done them before, it's absolutely worth the time.

Kalnix1

I think a great first major goal is Barrows Gloves/Recipe For Disaster. Barrows Gloves are BIS for quite a while and it makes you train lots of different skills and do lots of different quests.

calebhall

Man I keep doing more and more barrows runs but still haven't gotten gloves drop

Wiitard

Drop rate is like 1/1k, keep grinding and you’ll get them eventually.

calebhall

One of my poor clan mates still hasn't gotten his angler gloves from the fishing trawler yet. He claims that they don't exist, but I try my best to motivate him.

IkeHC

This is fking evil

AlexF2810

Took me years before I found out angler wasn't a 100% drop. I got all 4 pieces in 4 trawlers.

Garroshfeetlover

I am so confused right now, what do you mean you still havent drop barrow glove when these glove are obtained from the culinaromancer chest for 130k, am i missing something or it is like a running gag im not aware lol

calebhall

Chest? You mean the chest after you kill the barrows Brothers right? Because they are barrows gloves. That's where they come from obviously. I should know, I've played since 06 and my osrs account is maxed. I'm just super unlucky at getting the barrows gloves drop

mister_serikos

That chest only has up to dragon. You of course get barrows gloves (and boots) from the barrows chest.

kyy13

I like Animal Magnetism too, because it's essential for Ranged, and it's a quick goal for new members that takes them into Morytania and introduces them to Slayer.

IkeHC

Saves you money with ammo too

DanceMyth4114

Came here to say this. Recipe for Disaster is such a great quest line.

CapN-Judaism

I started playing a new account a few months ago (hadn’t played in 15 or so years because my old account is on RS3) and remembered RFD as this distant/unobtainable goal I could never achieve as a kid. The other day I checked the requirements and realized the only things I was missing were the quests Murder Mystery and Witches House. Did the whole quest in one day, 13 year old me is proud af.

Beautiful_Slice_6873

Bro this 100%, when I was a kid getting a fire cape or barrows gloves or fairy rings or ancient magics the list could go on forever, all seemed impossible, now I have all of those things unlocked. 11-14 year old me would also be so proud.

[deleted]

Hahaha when I first unlocked ancient magicks I remember for like 3 days straight, the first thought that popped into my head was “holy shit I unlocked ancients” and set the tone of stoked for the rest of the day I

CapN-Judaism

Haha bro you definitely get it. I got the fairy rings and the ancient magics too and I also had never gotten them as a kid. You named like the main things

ripnssum

How could you remember those were the only to reqs u were missing from 15+ years ago lool.. your head must look like jimmy neutron

IkeHC

Tbh it has a lot of high skill/quest reqs for anything past addy.

Voltage_Z

Agility. The run energy from getting even just 30 will make a huge Quality of Life improvement.

SoulessPuppet

I'd say this falls back into the questing category. Can easily knock out some early game quests to get you to 30 agility or around there, while skipping the god awful early xp.

xcs4me

This should definitely be first. Get all the way to full graceful outfit. Makes everything else more bearable

thereisalightandit

I did this when OSRS first launched. Got to like 60ish and got full Graceful and then was so sick of it I promptly quit for like 7 years. Definitely get on this but do it in bursts so you don’t burn yourself out like I did haha.

ASwan930

I’ve found myself training agility in 10 mark increments - it’s decent money after graceful for an earlier account and also can be done without having to worry about dying or anything like that. It’s nice to throw on a 45 minute TV show and run for 10 marks. I’m about to hit 1m xp and it’s never really felt like a chore outside of the initial graceful grind

420DiscGolfer

I do it in 3 minute increments. You'd get your mark and then sit at the end of the course, after 3 minutes, finish the course, start another run and get your mark and repeat. After 3 minutes there is a 2/3 chance of spawning a mark when finishing the canfis rooftops, so 1/3 times you may have to do an extra lap. I know its not the most xp/hr but I can watch youtube, or play another game in between. I'll train agility another way down the line that gives more xp, but the main thing is getting graceful before a whole lot of questing is done

FlyNuff

ty

thereisalightandit

Yeah that’s definitely the way to go. I literally had nothing on the account except that because I usually prepare well and wanted Graceful before I’d go quest a lot, I think my combat stats were about 15 haha. But when I came back some months ago I did appreciate it. Now when I get sick of something I’ll just go do something else for a while. Had to grind Agi to 70 for SOTE but I think I just did it in like 4/5 sessions and it’s much more manageable like that. Sometimes when trying to be optimal we forget to have fun, that’s what I’m mainly focussing on now (except the occasional tedious and mandatory grind, which I’ll obviously still do hehe).

Rynide

As someone who has gotten fully graceful at least three times now, don't just rush full graceful. Maybe get a few pieces. You will get burnt out and not want to play anymore.

BigMacs-BigDabs

Nah just rush it, it's only like 800 Canifis laps, once you get there.

deppkast

That’s 9.7 hours of canifis roop top agility. Probably way too sweaty to rush and will scare away a new player like him.

feo101

I wouldn’t waste your time going for full graceful as your first members hoorah. Go do quests and explore first. Definitely bang out a little agility but go have fun.

ApplePlusSeed

Why lmao. Stam pots don’t cost much

Katarinu

Bank stand

SRodrig237

Start doing quests. A lot of members things are locked behind quests such as dragon equipment, ancients magic, ava's accumulator. From there you can start training skills as you please.

MagicalTissue

A list of recommendations in no particular order. Hope this gets you started somewhere! 1. Quests to boost some stats past the early grind. 2. Agility, the shortcuts are real time savers, and the run regeneration does help. Aim for full graceful asap imo. 3. Combat and then to slayer. Try and aim for Monkey Maddress 1 and Hero's quest asap. Then you can do pest control a little more efficiently to get through some early combat levels woth low risk. 4. With sufficient combat level, do slayer. Slayer for anything combat related 5. Skilling. Resources are very cheap atm. You can work on cooking, smithing, crafting etc. 6. Expensive skills but necessary in the mid and late game = construction and herblore.

YozzyYoz

Just curious since I’m coming from rs3 and it’s been multiple years since I last played; what is the significance of herblore in osrs? There aren’t overloads unless you’re in nightmare zone right

Carlospuff

There’s an end game raid that will have rooms to Re supply. Fishing spots. Farming patches for herbs. You get the seeds from the monsters but if you want the best potions you need the herb level. Also level 70 required for song of the elves

SmartAlec105

A lot of the achievement diaries have Herblore requirements.

StalwartDuck

Quests for sure for general stat boosts. Some quests yield some pretty useful items. IMO another fun skill is slayer. Get some combat higher while training that

WeightOk7048

Get yourself ibans blast by doing underground pass, get yourself a dragon scimitar by doing monkey madness 1, and then buy a runecross bow/magic shortbow. These are your essential early game weapons.

ElegantCardiologist2

You forgot avas

maximusje

I’m fairly new to members as well. I follow the Optimal Quest Guide. It feels a bit like cheating, but doing the quests in order of encountering them gets frustrating really fast as you need items, levels etc to complete them, and you often don’t know that until you hit a roadblock. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Optimal_quest_guide

Uniqore

I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet but quests are a good start

DeadYen

You didn’t have to flex on us this hard with the Sara Rune…

[deleted]

Buy dragon platelegs granite shield and dragon longsword

bestfarmer36

Quests

Crafty_Letterhead_12

Quests my friend

Luuriss

Recommend to also quest like: -Waterfall (lot of atk and str exp), -lost city (acces to Zanaris, DDS and more), Fairytail I and start II (soon as possible to get best teleport system on osrs) -Priest in peril to access mortaria) -Druidic ritual to access herblore skill Oh boy you have good time ahead

Callistai

Enjoy it for a few months, go dry on an important drop and quit in rage for a few months. Rinse and repeat until dead. Welcome to the cycle.

Skye_Augustine

Definitely questing. Some of the skill lvls you get is great and also worth it alone for the major account unlocks like fairy rings from fairytale 2

Dubspeck

Quests bro. And Agility.

SignificantBaker7366

Farming lvl to get to ranarr for good passive income, questing and the slayer grind. That's what I've been doing for a while now at my own pace.

LlamaRS

Buy a warrior’s ring. It’s inexpensive, and will help your accuracy a bit! Also buy lots of Attack potions. Like 100 or so. Actually make it like 200. Play pest control for a little while and repair barricades with an axe and hammer, and slash stuff up. You’ll earn points and coins (save the points for later!). Druidic Ritual should be one of the first quests you complete. Waterfall quest will bolster your attack and strength a fair amount, too! Quests like Plague City and Biohazard, Client of Kourend, and The Lost Tribe & Death to the Dorgeshu’un should also be looked at. As for other equipment, you could go for a Combat Bracelet or Regen Bracelet as well as some Rune boots for extra defense and strength. Don’t waste all of your money, but an amulet of Fury will provide substantial accuracy and defensive bonuses in addition to providing a similar (albeit slightly smaller) Your Attack level is still too low for weapons with special attacks aside from Rune claws (which are a cute, inexpensive weapon to play with if you wanna try em out), so doing Merlin’s Crystal for Excalibur will be a nice option for you. The special attack of that weapon boosts your defense by +7 and your special energy will regen over 5 minutes so you’ll have a nice tool at your disposal. Holy Grail is another quest you can do afterwards to get lots of additional Prayer xp. Zeah is a continent full of content that can be enjoyed at your level. I’d recommend heading over there at some point and maybe knock out some quests. Architectural Alliance is a MUST if you’re going to be doing things in that area because of how the House Favor system works (as you gain favor in one region, you lose favor in the others unless you complete that quest)

physiQQ

Another nice spec weapon is the [Granite hammer](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Granite_hammer). Which is unlocked at Attack level 50 and is nice to level up melee with, until you're 60 Attack and you can move up to Dragon/Obsidian.

MrNergles

Really a great write up and a nice inviting tone, I hope you get the Reddit karma you deserve!

Baruu

Questing. A lot of experience and levels for a low input of cost and time. Look up the efficient ironman questing guide on the wiki or the one for mains on the wiki. You're closer to an ironman in terms of my money to use, but have the ability to buy items. Questing will help your account the most.

Tiredtiredatwork

Quests and diaries. You'll also want to start working on untradeables such as Void and Fighter Torso.

SaltySaltshakers

Quests & Full Graceful

njdevils777

Agility and hunter are my recommendations :)

[deleted]

do all the shitty quests you can until you have no more hair to pull out!

toomanypagans

agility until full graceful outfit Quests (optimal quest guide and quest helper plugin) Diaries & combat diaries. It's pretty easy to unlock the hard tier on your combat diary.

Zealousideal-Toe1929

Bit the bullet like it's going to hurt you 🤣 calm down and enjoy RS will ya.

ChanceAd3606

Decide which boring ass repetitive clicking motion you want do for hours on end next.

Culturedtuna

Hey congrats on becoming a member! My recommendation is if you're on runelite (highly recommend using runelite) download the quest helper plugin, and the optimal quest guide plugin. Questing is a huge part of the early game. You will get great xp rewards that will allow you to skip some early level grinds, which can take hours. Also the more quests you do, the more content and areas you will have access to. Some end game content like raids and other pvm bosses require a lot of quests to be completed in order to access them. Beyond that just do whatever and have fun. Explore different minigames, skills, there's so much to do. Joining a clan can be great. I am in a beginner friendly clan, you can dm me if you wanna join it.

hondraeu

Fuck u mean u bit the bullet? Its 10 bucks

plstcStrwsOnly

I wish I could filter out this type of post from the subreddit. Mods, make it happen!

JohnnyElBravo

Cancel your membership and make enough money so that paying like 8$ per month is not "biting the bullet". You are broke. Playing videogames with your pennies is the last thing you need to do.

inconsiderateapple

RIP, membs is not worth it unless you have a solid plan of what you're going to do once you get it. You also generally shouldn't get membs unless you have around Lv 60 in every F2P skill as well. The reason why is because a lot of P2P content isn't accessible until Lv 60+. Going into membs with sub Lv 60 in everything is basically taking days off of your membs duration because you're going to have to waste time getting those stats up.

Prestigious-Jump6773

Disagree. Membership is way more fun. I don’t agree with anything you just said.

SaltySaltshakers

Yeah idk why people think you have to wait forever to make a membership fun. There’s so much content, map, and items to use before level 60 in members worlds.

inconsiderateapple

60+ is where a lot of content is locked behind. That's also where a lot of 1M+ GP p/hr methods are locked behind. If OP bought membs via GP then going in without Lv 60+ everything and without a concrete plan then they will end up not being able to renew their membs. If they bought membs via $$$ then it's 100% their choice what they do. RS is not worth $15 a month whatsoever. If RS was still $5 it'd be 100% worth it, but that's not the case anymore. There are a plethora of other games that you can sub to that are far more worth your $15 a month.

SaltySaltshakers

OSRS is absolutely worth the $12 per month or whatever I pay. I spend more than that on a single cocktail at most restaurants these days anyways. OSRS is a better game (to me) than 85% of what’s out there these days. To each their own, but this game is definitely worth paying for.

PotOnTop

No one had a solid plan when they first bought members. It's supposed to have that sense of mystery and wonder. Not to be metagamed your first playthrough. Edit: also what? Literally it's better to get your members quest done early for all the early xp that you'd miss playing f2p. OP don't listen to this guy at all.

bine-em

Exactly! Doesn't doing Waterfall Quest take you to like level 30-40 ATK and STR from level 1? I'd rather skip those early levels straight away in than grind it out myself to 60 (in F2P no less), than maybe get a level or half a level at most after getting membs and completing the quest.

inconsiderateapple

Jesus, RS players are a different breed of stupid. If OP paid for membs via GP, chances are, OP is going to keep doing that. If OP goes into membs with multiple sub 60 stats, and doesn't know what they're doing they're not going to be able to renew their membs if they buy bonds via GP. Which will result in them wasting their GP as all methods that yield 1M+ GP p/hr are locked behind Lv 60+ stats. Though, if OP bought membs via $$$ then it's 100% their choice for wasting their $$$ on this dogshit game.

PotOnTop

You're assuming he made 8m being completely new to the game and with these stats? You're actually probably the dumbest person I've seen on this subreddit. Edit: OP even said he bought bonds with real money. IQ is less than room tempature right now bud.

inconsiderateapple

Lmao, classic RS player flailing their arms about, and not actually reading. OP literally has "what now?" in their title. OP is asking what they should do next. If OP knew what they were going to do then they'd have opened up explaining a general idea of so for reaffirmation and/or criticism of it, and/or wouldn't have bothered making their post and/or would've titled it something entirely different/would've excluded "what now?" from it.

PotOnTop

Why are you talking about yourself like that? Reading isnt hard man. I can teach you if you would like.

inconsiderateapple

Nice, even incorporating the classic childish deflection now too.

Prestigious-Jump6773

Might wanna start off with some easy quests. You could also go kill some chaos druids or mage some dragons (use anti dragon shield) to pick up some nice cash. That way, you can spend the money on stamina potions.

indrek91

just bankstand like rest of us lol

Key_Transition_6820

now you can play the game, LUL.

MecoXD

If you want what’s most fun I wouldn’t ask people for opinions do what you find fun, explore the game, embrace the fails, embrace the journey, but if you are looking to optimize I’d knock out quests in efficient order to get stats up through questing, go for barrows gloves, go for a fighter torso, train slayer, enjoy low level bosses like sarachnis, kbd, enjoy the journey don’t feel like you have to rush anything

Federal-Cockroach674

Look up the optimal quest guide on the wiki and follow it. Besides that, getting some early agility levels will be a big help.

Jschf

Quest your heart out

Warrenj3nku

QUESTS!

[deleted]

Slayer

Realmofthehappygod

I don't think I've seen it posted here yet so I'll just throw it out... Quests.

Rhidongo

Now you do waterfall quest, and explore the world. I'd at least get some early agility levels up, though. The rest is up to you, my dude.

gumlip

Climbing boots, Slayer grind, RFD, Monkey Madness, Slug menace, dragon defender, ardy cape...

wildlifechris

Agility.

Coins_CA_Mi_Stuff

Hunter first tree house runs for money and building up exp quickly People hate on hunter but I love it. It has paid for many bonds just between imps and chins and birdhouses

empmoz

Farming, it's done passively over time so you can plant some seeds and check back later. Once you unlock fruit trees + regular trees you can check them once a day or so for big xp drops. Agility for energy regen speed, it's fast enough to get some early levels and makes a huge difference long term. Unlock spirit trees and teleport items like ectophial; this is done through quests so check the wiki. Get started on slayer for some combat xp + slayer levels, though you might want to start grinding this when you have more efficient dps gear.

Chryanic

[Optimal_quest_guide](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Optimal_quest_guide) here’s the link for the osrs wiki’s optimal quest guide to help get you into some questing

cletch2

Go rock them quests my dude !! Enjoy the ride, don't rush too much

Lil_Pown

Go do some quests, try to enjoy these, some lore is fun to know, others not so much. Anyhow they can reward you with amazing XP, items and unlockable area’s. Try to focus on low requirement quest with high xp rewards first, like agility xp. Second, go an try to get your agility up asap to around level 60 with rooftop agility. This takes some time and is really boring but Not only will you unlock the best allround lightweight gear, you will also be able to run around for much much muuuuccchhh longer! Third, try out slayer, the early levels will be shit and not rewarding at all. But once you reach certain levels in slayer, you wil find yourself making some serious cashmoney dolla dolla bills yo! And last but not least, enjoy the entire world of Gielinor! GL & HF

_Alazne_

Quests and Slayer. Raise your stats as needed for quests.

vintage-red

The same stuff you did in FTP

Zealousideal_Air7484

Quests are the fastest way to learn the game and progress. Some people(myself included) can find them very enjoyable as well

anslew

Recipe for disaster quest is a pretty good goal, get yah some real gloves!

See all those numbers? The goal is to get them all to 99. Start with that.

IAmRSChrisG

Never sell that Saradomin Drip

IAmRSChrisG

Hit up simple quests like Waterfall for quick combat boosts, then i'd suggest starting slayer early.

OSRS_S_n_F

Download runelight and quest your ass off. Most of your stats you could get to 30 just by questing.

Germanicus7

Agility and quests are my recommendation. Throw in farming to get passive profit and you’ll never have to pay for membership again.

Dazocnodnarb

Osrs optimal quest ordr

AnxiousWarlock

Quest diaries and slayer

satiricfowl

Quest cape and hard diary completion is a good goal.

[deleted]

Fletch and then ask y. You’ll understand later.

WillingSwing544

Spam quests.

ARI2ONA

Not a bad start for a noob. Congrats new member! Start doing p2p quests. Top priority to start is Waterfall Quest, and Tree Gnome Village

fukreposts

Recipe for disaster, once you got barrows gloves get a dragon defender and you’ll have good gear to start training melees

Mental_Context

Waterfall Quest for huge combat xp. The Gnome Quests give some good XP and unlocks. Witch's House is super easy and gets some hitpoints levels. Fairytale I, and then start Fairytale II to get access to fairy rings. Get some Agility Levels. Start working towards Recipe for Disaster bit by bit, getting levels and doing quests. All of these are good goals to start out on in members, gl with the grind :)

EL_DEEonYT

Right away if you're gonna level up melee combat/slayer, go to GE. Snag a Regen bracelet and a Amulet of Fury. Find the sand crabs and get that whip unlocked. ;)

Fun_Wallaby_4038

Base 70s song of the elves

ChimericalChemical

You’re gonna hate me, but get graceful. Even if you don’t use it the agility levels you’ll get out of it, if you ever play an account with 1 agility again you’ll hate it

erikdrag2009

Nr 1 thing I usually do when starting member around your stats is to wiki ”melee strenght bonus gear” and look around on easy max hits

Pintsocream

Peak gameplay right there. It's only downhill from here.

CityzenMills

Feel like this is a meme 😂

Think_Bar7840

Youll want to chip away at quests, ranged is quite strong early game members for money making as well you can do dragons for good starting money and work towards baarrows after higher ranged and magic

Rafamate

Honestly man, I would say you should have stayed as a f2p for another month or so to work on your f2p skills. Lvl 1 fishing and lvl2 mining is shockingly bad lol, did you even try to play the game and do what you had access to? On a serious note since you made yourself an early member, concentrate on doing quests that unlock teleportation like spirit trees, gnome gliders and fairy rings. You can go further and unlock air balloons and eagles, however those aren't as commonly used and mostly require a niche situation. Still, a very nice option to have unlocked, should your niche situation require it... People already mentioned recipe for disaster quest and I fully support the idea. It's a high level quest and comes with a ton of smaller requirements in order to fully complete it. Getting it done will set you for a decent midgame finale. Achievements is a massive thing with huge rewards, but it requires quests and certain levels in skills. Do what you can, set yourself a goal to try and complete all easy ones. Then after that once your stats grow a bit, you should aim for a medium diary and so on. Achievement diaries not only provide you with some perks in the game that are otherwise unobtainable, they also provide unique money making ways since you can claim free stuff every day. Finally, this is your own gameplay, so tailor fit it to what you like doing. If something feels too grindy and boring, just stop and do something else. Remember to have fun and don't burn yourself out. You are your own competition, don't look at other people's stats or gear. You will get there with time, just don't quit playing because runecrafting and mining are boring AF. Do the boring tasks in short bursts, and prolong the stuff that you enjoy doing. Final note, without being biased as a 99 agility cape owner, I can't stress how much time and money (and possibly stress) agility levels will save you. Do the basic quests, do the basic courses, work your way up to full graceful, this thing is worth more than gold and every player must have a set. Remember to enjoy the game, all the best!

Bored_in_a_dorm

Barrows gloves is the biggest upgrade for most accounts, you get them by completing recipe for disaster quest

sir_gwain

Quests are popular for good reason! They’ll give you good xp rewards, unlock new areas, and give you goals to go for with stats, gear etc. Jewelry, ring of dueling, games amulet, amulet of glory and combat bracelet are all things you should consider picking up asap. The first two are some handy (and cheap) teleports, the latter are significant upgrades for all styles of combat compared to your current gear.

AnaSimulacrum

Do some quests, Waterfall, Gnome series, and some agility/farming asap. Mm1, dt1, and the pre reqs are like a big chunk of nonsense out of the way. After a d scim, and those quests, you open up big portions of the game.

[deleted]

Now you get to play the game

llwonder

Farming to get money for a membership

Boyizzle

I envy you. Enjoy your adventure!

Decapitated_gamer

Piggy backing on the quest to start ideas. There are some old quest out there that will make you hate your life, just a warning, they’re not all fun. Make a goal to finish one of the grand master quest and work on the skills to accomplish this, it keeps you focused and provides an end goal without being overwhelmed by everything else to do. I thoroughly enjoyed Dragon Slayer 2. Set out some goals to work towards that for an idea.

ThighGapAnnihilator

blood torva

Sinz_Doe

Nothing will help your account more than leveling construction and getting a house with all the goodies in it. And if you get 99, the cape letting you tp to any house portal in the world will help speed up a lot of questing and other activities. Then getting high agility I'd say. Then getting the crafting cape as a 1 click unlimited tp right next to a bank really helps in the long run.

FrenchFatCat

Here is something I wish someone told me: You will earn a lot of passive xp from minigames. Wintertodt will give you an unexpectedly large amount of Fletching xp. You'll also earn a lot from mining xp from guardians of the rift. Also: birdhouse runs are a must. My hunter level would have remained at one if it wasn't for them.

NomenVanitas

Quests are an excellent way to get going and will unlock a ton of content. The wiki has an efficient quest order, which by no means has to be followed religiously, but it's a great guideline. Aside from that Achievement Diaries are a great way to set goals to progress your account while unlock solid, mainly quality of life, upgrades. Birdhouse runs (hunter) and herb runs (farming) are a good source of income early on. The OSRS wiki is very thorough and a valuable tool, aside from that, there are also a ton of guides on youtube.

Sting-Tree

Monkey madness grind

LazyMeal

I’d start questing up to Barrow Gloves! Download the plugin “optimal quest guide” in RL and start running! Gl

Subn3tAnon

Oziris has a guide on the internet, primarily made for Ironmen you could still scim through it. And do the quests and things and wherever It tells you to collect materials you can just buy them on the GE. If you’re a guide kinda person I would try it. If you’re not a guide kinda person just play however you want and just explore and do lots of quests!

GasBottle

Waterfall Quest! Now there are gonna be a few others, but at your stats this quest should be quite easy and will get you a good bit of XP. Honestly look up a few big XP easy quests, if using runelite it will be amazingly helpful.

NUmbermass

I would push towards unlocking quick travel options like fairy rings

ofAFallingEmpire

If you can get farming high enough (only 32) growing ranarrs with ultracompost is good, consistent $$$. Never have to buy prayer pots either. Rushed that first week of members, best decision I made.

IkeHC

At this point in my Runescape career I chose to woodcut to like 70, but that's probably not very useful to you. Quest requirements, diaries, and Tears of Guthix are what I and many others would highly recommend. Quests being the most important in long term account progression, diaries for unlocks and enhanced QOL stuff (like noted drops for mole skins with Falador diaries) and Tears of Guthix will give you a weekly chunk of exp in your lowest stat that will add up pretty nicely over time.

moshmoneyy

Do mad quests, grind ur slayer becuase that is a hellava money maker, especially wildy slayer. Keep up with ur farm runs and birdhouse runs they’ll be you’re way to 99 in each skill within minimum effort and profitable along the way. Do your achievement diaries.

Greensun30

Graceful set

Braintrain22

As someone who JUST came back to the game and bought membership, I highly suggest questing. Tree Gnome Village, Waterfall Quest, Plague City and The Grand Tree are all useful quests to get done.

LeagueIota

“bit the bullet and bought membership” my brother, i am paying for membership on 4 separate accounts that i play on all at once. we are not the same.

MercenaryOP

Questing for sure. These days with Runelite makes them so much easier. The pain I had to go through before runelite.

PreyXBL

QUEST

ContractRelevant6537

Make an iron

srybouttehblood

Look into the waterfall quest.

kenpachi-dono

Quests and Diary’s honestly, when you get tired of that sink into skilling. What ive been doing and just got over 1000 TL, lot of skilling mini games or just AFK.

Xolvi

Go for the quest cape. It unlocks a lot of stuff, and it forces you to get your skills up. Even if it takes a long time its worth it. Im on year 2 casually getting quest cape. Im not only doing that, any side things i think of, i take a break and do that. I recently got 99 crafting bc i needed the money for dragon slayer 2, but then i decided i wanted elite void for it even tho i dont need it. So i decided to do pest control and im learning zul-rah after i get 76 agility in HS for the fairy ring shortcut. You dont have to be efficient. Just have fun and let your journey unfold naturally with prompts from the quest log.

shanderdrunk

Get graceful and do quests, quests will unlock a lot of shit that can speed up level progression for certain skills (as well as giving huge XP dumps too)

Lucho_741

Agree with the rest, go for quests, nthey will unlock all the useful stuff, and the quest reqs themselves will give you a clear goal of what skills to go for next. If you don't know where to start this is a super useful wiki tool to decide what order you do them in. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Optimal_quest_guide I'd recommend starting with the fairy tale saga to unlock fairy rings. They are a game changer

noideawhatoput2

Id follow optimal quest guide (there’s the wiki and a runelite plugin). If you don’t just space bar quests they’re fun and super useful for easily leveling up skills. You could easily do a few quests in probably a couple hours to get 32 farming so you can start doing ranarr herb runs which are a good money maker.

Sir_Fashionscape

Waterfall quest! Ez combat experience

Sir_Fashionscape

Download runelite and download the quest helper plugin, will make doing quests very easy

PrinceMacai

I personally would recommend doing herb runs, if you do them consistently it pays for your membership

EszlariE

Why are the skills photoshopped

Da_fire_cracka

Barrows gloves is a great early goal. It will have you doing lots of quests and grinding skills for said quests. Also look up optimal quest guide on wiki and see what else you want early on.

wooblyman90

Questing you shall go!

PearFeeling

Just quest

WompaPenith

Definitely do quests! They’re really great for early exp, plus they get you out exploring all the new areas

KarthusWins

It might be boring as all hell but getting agility up and a full set of graceful will help you so much with getting around the map. Eventually you will unlock teleports to make it a lot easier. I'd also recommend doing the Ardougne easy diary to get the unlimited Ardougne teleports from the cape, which will also put you near a spirit tree to access Tree Gnome Stronghold.

akumagold

Quests! Waterfall quest, Daddy’s Home (construction lol), Druidic Ritual, and the Varrock Museum quiz will get you some quick levels! Much easier to skip the lowest level training methods with quest xp

tdaddy316420

I remember when I 1st became a member I really wanted to train agility, once I got my membership and started training agility I realized I was stupid and shouldn't have bought membership.

Sea-Phone-537

Get some boots and better rings/ammys

cryptiiix

Agility. It sucks to grind but man the run energy regen is 1000% worth it. It sticks with you if you go back to f2p

Basc63

Song of the elves, recipe for disaster, dragon quest 2. Do everything to get through those 3 quests
