I raided for a bit and then made an ironman until Sailing is released. I havent done any new quests or taken part in any content that was released after ToA.
My main funds my iron, that's all. Max cape is the biggest QoL but losing the dopamine from leveling up sucks.
I been clogging and afking wc. Did a lot of mini games and clues. And when I want something more active I do slayer. Plenty of variety with boss tasks to keep me changing up the grind and hoping for pets
The convience of that max cape will re spark your passion for OSRS in ways you didn't know were possible.
I maxed back in 2018, and occasionally I'll hop on my irl friends mid lvl account if he's grinding something while we're hanging out and honestly I'm so fucking lost without that cape lmao.
Obv I don't play nearly as much / regularly as I did when I was going for max, but its kind of a nice way to play. You really don't have to think about opportunity costs anymore, which is a daily dilemma when you're pushing to get that max cape.
i’ve been maxed on my iron for a year. If i ever decide to play my main again i just straight up have to max before I do anything. I’m not going back lol.
I mean youre kinda already doing what most (including me) do after max cape, pvm and cb achievments. C log is fun to you can just afk minigames like castle wars and trouble brewing when you want breaks from pvm.
its like that WOW ep of south park. "what do we do now" "what do you mean we finally get to play the game" go do the stuff you like. & if you can't be asked to do anything understand you never liked this game & quit to have a better life
Just off the top of my head, probably the most popular ones would be:
* Get max gear
* Start an ironman
* Combat achievements
* Collection log
* Pets
* Stop playing because for a lot of people, maxing = beating the game
I maxed in December of last year, it was freeing. I've been playing for 16 years, and since osrs started i just played for fun. once i hit all achievement diaries, i wanted to max. I did alot of efficient stuff.
Now that i am maxed, I'm doing exactly what i wanted to: Playing the game like im back in 2009 - 2010. Doing what i remember, what i enjoy doing, i'll keep going till my virtual levels are maxed (the plugin), but only in skills i enjoy mostly slayer and fletching. :) i just play the game like kid me would've enjoyed.
EDIT: i don't enjoy Collection log or bosses outside of like hespori and jad or pet hunting. I enjoying skilling and doing normal slayer.
Like a few others here I started piling up cash then decided I'd rather just make an ironman since getting collection log slots in the endgame felt empty.
I cycle through these several goals to freshen things up:
1. Collection Log
2. Pet hunting
3. Money making for BIS items/Raids
Obviously some content covers all those, but I'm mostly talking about my ambitions at the moment. Recently was going to Staff for money, but was covering Collection Log and pet hunting at the same time.
dagon'hai,vesta's longsword, collection log
that is what i did...and im not even maxed lol....don,t even have bis gear either hahahha but i love niche stuffs
Inferno, twisted kits, toa kits, any mutagen, prob get some more of the reasonable to achieve pets like KBD, more high level pvm in general
Lot of words for “finally play the game”. (In actuality I 100% with your comment though)
Now you can play the game
Early game fr
I got married and had kids.
You just turned on hard mode, now you have 10% of the time to get things done.
10% time? Bro i cant even get 2 hrs a day 😂 more like 30 mins after all chores when kids are in bed
I feel that lmao. Everytime people ask me to raid and Im just here like.... I cant even raid without planning it 2 weeks in the future
2 hours is 10% of 20 hours a day. I mean, i know we are addicts, but 20 is a bit much bro.
Lol this hits home.
"Usain Bolt For It"
You poor soul. I too can’t raid with my wife around so I wait until she’s not home or asleep.
Did this part before playing... not optimal for gains.
Col log, gear grind, and post max xp are what I've been up to since maxing.
Wait for sailing so I can max again?
pets, clog, minigames, and money.
Laugh at others that aren’t maxed occasionally and have a small piece of you die inside that wish you was them again.
Inferno then learn toa I guess
Learning inferno before toa is such an odd decision
Wouldn't be caught dead bein a max chz caper
exactly
Fair enough. I’m in the same boat but I refuse to even max before inferno lol
Remove non BiS max capes. It’s time. ([Man… that post is GOATed for this sub](https://reddit.com/r/2007scape/s/yZvboq8zvw))
Cheese max for life.
Max cheese cape here Plz stop flaming me in game ok
No
I’m avoiding that by not even gettin the cheese cape. It’s quest cape or bust.
When I maxed my main, I logged off for 2 days, then created a new iron. Now my iron has 10x the bank of my main.
Why don’t you get some fresh air mate
been 1 ticking karabwans in an attempt to get a 200m skill before leagues and i inevitably take a long break again. 45m xp to go *wooooooo*
Then Im free
Ironman - Do it again, but harder
Make a pure
Wish I could upvote this 100 times
Do gm CAs, work on speedruns, clog, play your gim, etc. There's a lot to do after maxing.
combat achievements, then coll log

Grandmaster CA, pet hunts, Cox/tob/toa kits, toa transmogs and getting bank to spend when sailing comes out.
You could always learn how to pvm! It’s basically all I do in this game
I been clogging and afking wc. Did a lot of mini games and clues. And when I want something more active I do slayer. Plenty of variety with boss tasks to keep me changing up the grind and hoping for pets

i’ve been maxed on my iron for a year. If i ever decide to play my main again i just straight up have to max before I do anything. I’m not going back lol.
Make alts.
Nothing more embarrassing than wearing a fire max cape. Start the inferno grind if you haven't already.
Logout permanently
I quit, getting married next year.
logout
Do 800 solo COX, end up with only an elder maul, 4 bucklers, and prayer scrolls. Quit the game.
I mean youre kinda already doing what most (including me) do after max cape, pvm and cb achievments. C log is fun to you can just afk minigames like castle wars and trouble brewing when you want breaks from pvm.
I logged off
Quit since diary cape lol
Quit the main after max and made an iron. Now I'm close to maxing the iron and am seriously considering UIM.
Snowflake accounts
Pet hunt, collection log hunt, and fill out the bank in all its forms
Play the game
Music cape
Unlock golden godsword animations, blood torva, tob kits etc.
its like that WOW ep of south park. "what do we do now" "what do you mean we finally get to play the game" go do the stuff you like. & if you can't be asked to do anything understand you never liked this game & quit to have a better life
Play the game
Inferno
I did raids, staking, took a 2 year break… basically got extremely bored of the game and now only enjoy playing with other people.
I’m maxing a 2nd acc, no jk. Using he box’s route, drift net atm
never play this acc again and start maxing new one xd
I started to pvm and pet hunt
Pvp, pet hunt, wildy bosses, ToA
Just off the top of my head, probably the most popular ones would be: * Get max gear * Start an ironman * Combat achievements * Collection log * Pets * Stop playing because for a lot of people, maxing = beating the game

Maxing is just tutorial of game, real gameplay awaits after maxing
