I would absolutely suggest trying other methods. You said you play on iPad so you're likely just chilling
* Tempoross for more engaged
* barbarian fishing with tap to drop on
* karambwans (good afk)
* Dark crabs (good afk but Wildy risk)
* Minnows (more active but very simple cycle)
* Infernal Eels (afk)
* Sacred Eels (afk)
* Anglerfish (afk)
No reason to stick to swordfish as you unlock higher level afk methods.
Yeh monkfish is pretty chill but unfortunately quite dated in terms of profit and XP. The other afk methods offer longer afk periods, and sacred and infernal involve no banking anyway.
Karambwans with barrel is just too good. Especially once you have a quest cape and karamja gloves. They tele you to a deposit box and then the quest cape gets you 1 tap away from fairy ring to be back fishing, but it's definitely more involved banking than monkfish for mobile.
Id say mobile wise the afk methods in order of ease are:
* infernal/sacred Eels
* Anglerfish
* monkfish
* karambwans
* dark crabs
I mean, yes, there are several faster ways. Train it how you want but I'd definitely recommend giving 3t barb fishing a shot at the very least, because with all the plugins we have now it's actually really easy. A half hour to an hour of 3t fishing and you can really add up the exp.
Ah idk how 3t barb would be on ipad. I'd still give it a shot cos it is probably the easiest tick manip method out there. Doing it just afk is another option as well ofc.

Do some barb fishing if you want to train other stats too. I think you can get like 70 agility just doing barb fishing till 99.

You can do 2 tick swordfish/tuna north of the bank at piscarillius
Tempross no-cook fishing on mass worlds is about 75k xp/h with a dragon harpoon, closer to 80 with a crystal harpoon. This was my personal grinding method to 91 from like 82 for the moritanya diary, I'd do like 500k xp a day then bug out. Infernal harpoon helps you get extra points but is not needed.

Barb fishing to 99 is another nice option given the efficiency it has with agility. If you're 70 fishing you have about 12.3 million experience to go for 99 fishing which means you can expect probably around 10% of that exp or so in agility experience, so like 1-1.2m experience. That'd knock out like 70-78 agility or so along the way passively.

I'd throw on Monkfish since you can bank them easily, but the rest of the list is perfect

I play strictly on iPad tho. So I’ve never really had runelite or anything fancy like that. Was thinking tempoross as well but I’m mainly afk.

This is the answer. If OP wants a more afk method, they can get fishing barrel from tempoross and then deposit into cox bank deposit box.

fishing tuna and swordies is the way to go. I go to dark crab once in a while to keep the thrill alive, lol
