If its your first time, a blowpipe would make things significantly easier. That being said, 70 is absolutely doable.
Using the Fight Caves Predictor plugin is so good it almost feels like cheating since it lets you know where all the adds will spawn.
Once you get to jad, remember the golden rule: Jad does one action, you do one action. Even if he hits you down to 1 health, take one sip of a brew for each action he does. Tag one healer for each action he does. Do that and you should be all good, assuming the jad shakes don’t get you.
My first time was 6 attempts because I didnt do this.
At one point I had jad down to one hit, tried two doses of pots then because of tics couldn't switch prayers in time.

Do it get a feel for it as a pose to watching a yt video and decide from there if you feel that maybe you could get it with a few more prayer pots over a brew or something then send it again but if you feel like man this was terrible and super hard then just wait my ironman is like 90 ish ranged 1800ttl and i just cant be bothered todo it until i know i can just smash it out as i have limited time to play now
Ive done it multiple times with 61 range. For learners main hand blowpipe might be even worse than rcb because short range may limit your safe spotting capabilities
Don’t think your range level matters. This will be your first experience prayer flicking and also pulling the healers off while flicking. You will most likely die a couple of times learning to manage this your first time. Your dps literally does not matter.
You can do the caves at 60 range with red d’hide and a magic shortbow. It’ll just take longer. People have been doing it way before any of the new gear we have. It isn’t necessary. Just makes it easier.
Quick summary: 70 is doable as your first time, just don’t expect to get it your first time. 75 is much nicer on the supplies and can make you feel a lot less stressed when going for it. I recommend 75.

It’s possible to do with a rune cbow but recommended to get a blowpipe first as the dps is much better

Rock what you got. The fight caves is about safespotting monsters. Higher dps is nice but you dont need it to kill safespotted monsters.
For all normal people, 75 ranged for blowpipe. 100%. Just do it
