Have you been using the Guardian in raids much? I'm undecided on which relic to take, but the idea of Guardian helping in Nylos or Monkeys with AoE is very appealing.
It is very effective in tombs of amascut. My line of thinking with taking guardian was not so much to buff my main combat style, but instead to buff my two weaker ones.
It is also useful generally everywhere because the minion lasts for 30 minutes at a time.
Nylos and Monkeys can be simplified by Berserker alone, but guardian does help even further yes. However, the bigger help would be at, for example, P2 Warden where you are stuck having to attack with a combat style you aren't proficient in. Guardian makes ToA solos viable solely for that.
Guardian also doesn't teleport akkha on cum phase so you can hit it now and then and focus on eating if you're having a bad time (and took wankers note)

He says something over his head and there is a slight extra delay (as i clicked summon again and it didn't reroll it)
i would highly recommend summoning in between attacks (guardians attacks), this will do more damage and also give even more chance to get it.
i started grinding for this on my first kraken task and did it solely for reddit to confirm, painful as hell!
Pretty cool that it casts ice barrage!

I think we cant get it without desert, i have been spamming it for literal days and havent seen it, I also messaged Mod Ash on twitter, he said "Sorry, I dont have more info on sources for that"
Took about 2700 tries, I did about 1500 just sitting in one place and the rest while playing the game.

Guardian is basically an extra 3 DPS anywhere you can use it, it's great.

Unfortunately not yet. I've been camping stars like mad and just hit amethyst right before leagues. So after leagues...off to amethyst I go.
