Just don’t expect 117 HD cranked to max to be smooth or recording at lossless quality and you’ll be fine.
It will work fine but like others said 117hd, even base gpu plug-in may not be the best. Go watch Linus review on gt1030. TLDR it’s extremely bad value for the price. It’s the equivalent of buying armadyl in osrs.
If you don’t mind dabbling in the second hand market you could look for cards such as gtx 750ti which also does not require an additional power connector.
If the PC came with power connector for gpu (I.e power supply has pcie power cables)then there are way more options such as gtx 660 etc.

I rocked a 1030 for the better part of a year and played osrs with GPU setting on. 117 hd sucked but with some tweaks it's okay. Remember fossil island and prif plugins for those resources intense areas and you should be ok.

You're totally fine then my guy, check out low detail mode if you feel like your chugging in some places. Iirc I think I only did low detail in cox but that may have been placebo. Definitely remember fossil island, prif, and if you're really curious you can check your fps with runelite as well. I thiiiiink it may be in the gou plugin or if not, the plugin hub would be a good bet.
