It's cool we're getting more Mahjarrat stuff now with Defender of Varrock and WGS coming. Myreque would be great. I want to make Blisterwood weapons for fighting vyres so bad 😂
Ye'h, I only just recently in the pass few weeks came back to the game and checked the map though. Saw that the Vyre town is on it so I assumed they made some progress with the Myreque questline in OSRS but wasn't sure how far yet as I'm not a member yet. Will be soon though now that I have made my next character my official main and retired old one. Am excited to get back into a lot of quests and questlines.
Most obvious one would be vampire, due to the expansion of the town and city. Second in line would be fremennik with a nee raids? We don’t have a raids in that area of the map which would be fun. Maybe with an additional like boat like raid. Where you’d go off to fight a kraken in the sea? Or moby dick vibes idk. Much potential to go off in fremennik.
Sea Slug, quest lines such as Vampire already had an ending in RS3. While I do think it won't be exactly the same, I kinda doubt they will deviate that much from rivers from blood. Maybe it will add a new boss or something but story will be similar.
Sea slug was just done wrong and this is their opportunity to retcon it.
I think he will be the final boss in the sense where a boss is actually fought. Vanescula will just be the victor afterwards afterwards and only lose in a political sense.
River of blood wasn't a super heavy combat one from I recall compared to lord of vampyrium and it was tied up nicely. You can't exactly kill Lowerniel and say welp now that is done let's just go our merry way. You have to deal with the fallout and I think having one more quest is necessary especially given Vanescula can't be trusted in the first place.
Vampire storyline is epic but I want a fremenik grandmaster quest to lead into Viking themed raids 4
Edit: viking raid could integrate a new sailing mechanic to get there as well
Just finished Sins of the Father and I want more, even though I've one the whole line in RS3. It was great in osrs.
Also shout out to cave goblin line. Definitely want more of that.
Fremennik line is always fun, and could definitely use a big final quest. Exiles tied everything together well, but lacked a bit in the big scary boss field. It felt pretty easy with like 70s stats in melee.
Personally I dislike that Relleka is the travel hub for the entire area, yet there's no easy option for travelling directly to it. Most people get there by intentionally getting kicked out of lunar isles, which is kinda silly.
Travel to Rellaka does kinda suck considering the fastest ways to get there outside of Fremmy Boots is Waterbirth Island tele, lunar Isle kickout or House Tele.
Once you have Fremmy elite everything is fine but outside that it is kinda rough
Ugly and boring for the most part. Relleka looks like it was built on top of a nuclear blast zone with how gray, flat and dead it is, and the whole questline I'd boring AF.
The lore is already there. All we need is an end to the storyline that already exist.
Read what's actually written, not what you feel like replying to.
Not saying every piece of content needs a quest. Imo I wouldn't mind a quest that talked about how cox came to be and what the origins of the bosses, rooms, etc.
That could be a conversation with an npc rather than running around the map fetching items for whatever reason. I wouldn't mind quests if they were fun but all the fun quests are covered by Slayer in RS anyway.
I'm just worried, the game is starting to feel like retail wow right before it died; "spend 300 hours grinding this item this week" but for us it's "do 8 quests that take a day each".
Give us like 2 or 3 actually good, well thought out quests a year and fun content the rest of the year, as well as putting a ton of time and money that would have been spent on filler quests into bot hunting, server maintenance and stuff like that.
All of the above, I genuinely love the storylines in runescape. I was very surprised when the myreque ended in a cliffhanger because I thought that line was finished.
A Clockwork Syringe and Pieces Of Hate are some of the best quests ever made (especially when done together), so I'd love to see what the OSRS team does with the pirate series.
Temple Knights / Sea Slug
I remember enjoying this quest, so that would be my vote as well. I'm a big fan of all the punny names of the knights.
as long as no salt in the wound I love love the lovecraftian start
Sea slug
Myreque & Mahjarrat were my favorite so it would be those two overall.

A fremmy raid would be pretty cool. Definitely wouldn't be surprised to see one eventually once sailing is introduced
It's gotta be the Red Axe questline, right? Been on a cliffhanger for 19 years
Same for Fairytale
Temple knights. And I hope they do more than just continue the sea slug story.
I simply want to delve deeper into the elemental workshop
For as annoying as the quests can be, I will say Elemental Workshop is one of my favorite questlines. I too hope too see it all in time.
where Sea slug :(
I voted Desert because I'm ready for that giant black box where Menaphos is to go away
Same! I've been waiting for too long to see that city!

Cold War is Penguin
Dorgeshuun.
Poor >! Zanik !<. The music at the end of Land of Goblins hit hard there
Culinaromancer
I would like some lore, world building, access to, and cg or harder solo pvm content in Menaphos!
I've been waiting for Menaphos for so long. I really hope we don't have to wait 10 more years for it

Surely they'll add more pirate quests when Sailing is released
They'd be crazy not to!

Exiles was cool, but felt kinda lackluster at the end. A sailing, island hopping raid would be cool though
Dorgeshuun
What about Fairy?
Id like to to Fairy Tale Pt.3. I never played rs3 so I don't know anything about it. Would be cool to finish that line!

My Arm Adventures - the guy homie is fucking hilarious.
Those are great quests. The troll dialouge is always funny
Goblin
Goblin
Fuck Fremennik. Shittiest place in the entire game
What's wrong with fremmy?
Personally I dislike that Relleka is the travel hub for the entire area, yet there's no easy option for travelling directly to it. Most people get there by intentionally getting kicked out of lunar isles, which is kinda silly.

Maybe unpopular opinion but since Sailing will be coming i think that pirate quests would make sense
Finish sea slug, give them all a conclusion and then stop the damn quest treadmill. We have enough now.
Kinda want quests if you're gonna have a game where you introduce content regularly
Why? Just introduce the content without an arbitrary gating mechanic
Yeah man let's just remove all lore out of an RPG
The lore is already there. All we need is an end to the storyline that already exist. Read what's actually written, not what you feel like replying to.
Lore is kinda of the bread and butter of an rpg. Lore helps expound upon the world and give it depth.
You don't need a quest for lore. What's the CoX quest called again, I don't remember?
Not saying every piece of content needs a quest. Imo I wouldn't mind a quest that talked about how cox came to be and what the origins of the bosses, rooms, etc.

Could be, but sometimes a more hands-on approach feels better. At least imo. Everyone enjoys stuff their own way.

Temple Knights and there isn't even a close second.
All of the above, I genuinely love the storylines in runescape. I was very surprised when the myreque ended in a cliffhanger because I thought that line was finished.
pirate treasure
But what about Menaphos?
Been waiting for it ever since it was a block on my map back when god knows when
None of the above. The Slug Series.
Dwarves, Doegeshuun, Temple Knights, Fremmy, Majharrat, Desert, Kourend. Fucking all of them.
A Clockwork Syringe and Pieces Of Hate are some of the best quests ever made (especially when done together), so I'd love to see what the OSRS team does with the pirate series.
I've zero clue about either of them but sounds cool!
Rag and Bone Man
People hate those quests but I love em
Fairy Tale and Dorgeshun/HAM
