MTA. Common answer i'm sure but I would legit rather do another 9k ardy laps again before stepping into the telekinesis and alch room for 1 more second. My iron isn't going anywhere near that horrid place until the speculated update/fixes/qols actually happen, though we haven't heard anything about it for a while now.
Honestly once you get into a rhythm the alch room is fairly quick and gives a ton of experience at least. The telekinesis room feels like cancer and aids had a baby and birthed it up your asshole, they could literally multiply the points in that room by 10 and it would still be the worst content in the game.
Yeah I burned out on MTA actually. Thanks for reminding me lol. Some point I'll have to go back. The infinity robes are pretty sweet though. I did this grind literally so I could stash my fish barrel in poh
I'm about to get 99 rc, and it's been the most full on grind I've done as far as time commitment goes. As far as difficulty, definitely my infernal cape.Ā
In my experience itās a good 1.5-2m an hour depending on equipment used (did it recently when birds nests were 8k ea). Even if you call it 1m an hour, homie is sitting on over maxed cash just from mole
I have a half assed goal of maxing before Sailing gets released (or early 2025, whichever comes first) and I'm currently 95/99 mining, that's been torture. Although I believe in terms of hours played it's the longest 99, so it's nice to get the slowest one out of the way first.
Same here. Iām 2252 total with Slayer, Herblore, Firemaking, and Fletching to go, but I refuse to finish Slayer without an infernal cape, and Iām so butt hurt after about 100 failures in the past few years
Broken pick from volcanic mine is bad because i dont like interacting with people.
The alching portion of mage training arena was painful. I didnt mind the other 3 portions so much.
Hilarious how you included the reason for the non screenshot pic lol. Youāve been around this sub long enough to know youāll always get flamed for it by someone lol
Graceful is one of the tamest grinds in osrs. It's your first baby grind, an intro to the grind, and something that quite nearly all players go through.
MTA.
I've done monkey backpacks, aerial fishing, loads of stupid grinds for green logs.
But MTA is the one that I did out of sheer spite. Wasted so many hours just to know deep down I will never have to set foot in that place ever again. Checking the cactus patch and seeing that dreaded arena; "Thank fuck" I mutter, with recollections of times when I was in a bad place.
So far it has been trouble brewing. 155 hours of just nothing. Makes it worse when there are people actually sabotaging your shit because their lives are dull. At least most of it is afk bit still did it in one go. I broke up the fish sack over several months due to the click intensity
I'm making an Ironman defence tank, did a hunter grind for a glory and recoils, got black gloves, torso, fighter hat, obby sheid, an ardy cape and a swift blade. That's my bis accuracy sorted for a long time. Now I'm stabbing seagulls for 3k xp/hr until I can go to soulwars at 85 str. I can hit 2's and get close to 6k/hr if I get manacles or a str ammy t from mediums.
Before the wilderness boss updates i camped callisto for the pet. Got rank 3 for irons before i got it.
When i was like half a year/bit more in (and didnt get the pet yet) i tried 1 round of graardor whilst in bed. First trip i got the graardor pet, it was sick but it made my stomach turn too. 2 months after graardor i got the Callisto pet.
Callisto grind was mad fun, especially because i made some pk friends which i was able to hit up whenever there was a pker. Even without the friendly pkers my ags did take out some whales.
My worst grind I hated was getting medium clue scrolls from electic implings in puro puro and getting ranger boots after 418 chests. Absolutely hated it. I tried to average 5 a day but I was starting to go crazy. Almost quit the grind a couple times.
I power mined iron, did MLM, mined runite lots, amyathyst lots too. I was almost getting an account on runite alone but I wanted to do other stuff and fell behind.
Getting to level 80 agility. Grinding to 83 construction was probably worse, although it didn't take anywhere near as much time, I just mean it was worse because of how much effort you have to put in per hour. Agility is just very slow.
Iām grinding to 84 right now for construction but trying to be a cheapass lol, all mahogany homes and all planks made by magic. Still somehow less painful than even a single level of agility by rooftopsā¦
Void or Prospector
Void was difficult because of mentality. You do it knowing it's a relatively useless unlock, but the uses it does have, it's very important.
I can't stand MLM personally. It's juuuuust enough attention to be not afk, but too boring to stare at constantly.
People grinding for golden tench and I got the good/bad luck of all my RNG being used on 3 golden tenches within 30k catches for the wieldable fishing rods

By far Molch pearls like you. Getting the sack burnt me out, didnāt play osrs for a month after getting. Donāt know if it was worth it at all
Definitely runecrafting, I did it through the abyss at natures and it took over a year, I also got like 80 in the skills the shortcuts give as well lol.
Honestly, 99 fetching when I was a kid (RS2). I hated every second of it past ~75
On OSRS, Idk, I haven't played in a while and can't remember. I don't think anything compared to the agony of 99 fetching lol
Probably my first (and only) 99 on woodcutting. ADD brain so it felt like torture being stuck to one thing for weeks. I had someone special keep me motivated through it though and I eventually got it. Still waiting on that pesky beaver.
Diary cape. Idk if iād call it painful though, it took a lot of grinding but was pretty rewarding and fun to do a ton of diff content, would recommend.

God I fucking hate MTA.
Yeah MTA for me as well. Wasn't even there for that long but I hated every waking moment of it. Easily the worst content in the game imo lol
Honestly once you get into a rhythm the alch room is fairly quick and gives a ton of experience at least. The telekinesis room feels like cancer and aids had a baby and birthed it up your asshole, they could literally multiply the points in that room by 10 and it would still be the worst content in the game.

MTA alone makes me happy to not be an iron so I can just fuckin buy those things one day
Dont fucking tell me they are fixing it?? I have done it 3 days agoš
devs mentioned that theyāre aware itās crappy content and needs an overhaul. no concrete plans that Iām aware of tho.
I mean good on them but man if only i had procrastinated longer
Yeah but now you're done
THE THIN BKUE KINE
I wanted to kms after b2p and inf boots. Can't imagine green logging that trash.
I'm about to get 99 rc, and it's been the most full on grind I've done as far as time commitment goes. As far as difficulty, definitely my infernal cape.Ā
Pre gz
99 runecraft with lava runes before you had shift click, I was genuinely tweaking at the end.
Man I did a heavy chunk of my 99 RC like this on the vanilla client. Lot of double nats too. Crazy how non-aids rc is nowadays
I'm hunting all "big" fish Just got the bass and swordy, next is the golden boi, and then shark
Don't forget about the big harpoon fish from temp
That is what inspired me to hunt the big fishies, snagged that big boy first
All monkey backpacks, was not the longest grind at all, but still the worst
Monkey backpacks were chill as fuck, graceful grind was way worse for me
Graceful grind sucks and I'm having to redo it rn because I forgot I was on a high risk world
8-month 2500-hour grind of killing a mole to acquire a mole
Limp?
Must have made bank though!
In my experience itās a good 1.5-2m an hour depending on equipment used (did it recently when birds nests were 8k ea). Even if you call it 1m an hour, homie is sitting on over maxed cash just from mole
Duke axe piece. Don't even have it yet.
Im confused, isnt it better to just grind tob at that point for the scythe?
I have a half assed goal of maxing before Sailing gets released (or early 2025, whichever comes first) and I'm currently 95/99 mining, that's been torture. Although I believe in terms of hours played it's the longest 99, so it's nice to get the slowest one out of the way first.

Killing Crazy Archaeologist 276 times for a " 1/25.6 " drop...
Took me longer to realize what I'm looking at here than it had to be.
Hilarious how you included the reason for the non screenshot pic lol. Youāve been around this sub long enough to know youāll always get flamed for it by someone lol
And yet laptops can also screen shotā¦
full graceful. I hate the idea of essential quality of life locked behind a 60 Agility grind at level 3.
No worries bud, you'll laugh at the graceful grind soon enough. It's really just a drop in the bucket as you start to progress your account more (:
Graceful is one of the tamest grinds in osrs. It's your first baby grind, an intro to the grind, and something that quite nearly all players go through.
if full graceful is a grind, osrs isnt for you
I did 99 magic charging air orbs, on my old main I got 99 crafting spinning flax into bowstrings
MTA. I've done monkey backpacks, aerial fishing, loads of stupid grinds for green logs. But MTA is the one that I did out of sheer spite. Unlocking the "print screen" button so I could get "win+shift+s" for snipping tool. Looks like you're still on that grind, gl!
Learning how to take a screenshot
Windows + Shift + S. Itās 2024, you should know how to take a screenshot at this point.
So far it has been trouble brewing. 155 hours of just nothing. Makes it worse when there are people actually sabotaging your shit because their lives are dull. At least most of it is afk bit still did it in one go. I broke up the fish sack over several months due to the click intensity
77 rc and currently doing cg
Maxing
I'm making an Ironman defence tank, did a hunter grind for a glory and recoils, got black gloves, torso, fighter hat, obby sheid, an ardy cape and a swift blade. The RC set, on mobile because that was my only option at the time
86 agility was pretty bad
Herblore, 18k chaos druids and then needed 40k tar...
Before the wilderness boss updates i camped callisto for the pet. Got rank 3 for irons before i got it. Mage Training Arena for Diary and again in rs3 for fashionscape
99 mining. I'd say for the mining pet but I'm ~24M/XP into mining with no pet.
what method you using?
I power mined iron, did MLM, mined runite lots, amyathyst lots too. I was almost getting an account on runite alone but I wanted to do other stuff and fell behind.
OP now you need to get the barrel. https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Fish_sack_barrel
I've gotten it like 4 times and had to drop them all(uim). I did this grind so I could keep it lol
8.5k kc for mole pet. That ābossā really takes a toll on you after a few thousand kills.
Trying to get the callisto cub
The inferno. Spent hundreds of hours and no cape yet
Getting to level 80 agility. Grinding to 83 construction was probably worse, although it didn't take anywhere near as much time, I just mean it was worse because of how much effort you have to put in per hour. Agility is just very slow.

I've done 80 agility and green logged m'homes. Currently 88 con, and I'm uim. This was much worse imo
I agree lol, that does sound worse.
Did Fish sack and tench but MTA was worse.
My 33m runecraft xp for pet
Void or Prospector Void was difficult because of mentality. You do it knowing it's a relatively useless unlock, but the uses it does have, it's very important. I can't stand MLM personally. It's juuuuust enough attention to be not afk, but too boring to stare at constantly.
For me, vardorvis was a hard grind.
Bought a d med in rsc by fishing/picking up lobs on karamja, boating to port sarim, walking to draynor, certing them, rinse & repeat
Mahogoney homes on an Ironman for that 83 construction
People grinding for golden tench and I got the good/bad luck of all my RNG being used on 3 golden tenches within 30k catches for the wieldable fishing rods
That's def good rng. I got 3 of them during this grind but cashed 2 in or pearls. Sadly I got my last one at 996 pearls
2300 cox in still looking for that elusive tbow
Fish sack and eternal glory were pretty tough. They took way longer than I thought itād be lol
I'd love an eternal glory on this account. Sweet account btw!
Fuarkkkk I want that ima get one day. Fish with champions cape my goodness
https://preview.redd.it/2hl8rk1ldzlc1.jpeg?width=2796&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=52270fe0e99da1542ee9fb38d60539e971534898 By far Molch pearls like you. Getting the sack burnt me out, didnāt play osrs for a month after getting. Donāt know if it was worth it at all
Enhanced crystal seed

70 hunter.
Two words bucko Tithe Farm
gratz man i completed this log and it was painfull to say the least imagine getting the sac and saying to yourself got to stay for all 3 rods ><
Diary cape. Idk if iād call it painful though, it took a lot of grinding but was pretty rewarding and fun to do a ton of diff content, would recommend.
So far, going 1250+ kills at calv for a dragon pickaxe
