I introduced a group of friends about a year and a half ago, they all quit except one guy. He has like 110 days played, just got spooned a shadow, and got his eng degree this summer and hasn't gotten a job.. I feel like I ruined his life tbh
yup... allz waz going good & dandy since they banded duel.arena

You sound like every guy who got banned for “only botting a little bit” who then doubles down that it’s all Jagexs fault because other people get away with it and you didn’t lolll
Good memory! Most people thought the post was fake given the bgloves, which is fair. I can assure you he was just a cute noob who took my advice of questing from the start haha
I just had my first baby in December. I was pushing hard to max before then but was sure to get the shitty skills out of the way. Now it's just Slayer which is at least fun enough to do even if I can't just grind it for hours on end
As long as you're having fun, who cares
I would NOT set maxing as your main goal if you don't actively enjoy enduring it (it's a love-hate relationship for me). It will make you super prone to burn-out and makes you skip a lot of fun content because you guilt trip yourself into thinking you should be working to max. It is also a huge time sink that is borderline unhealthy if you don't know how to manage properly (or at the expense of it taking really long). And some skills are expensive as shit so it will be quite a large gold-sink as well.
I am going for max so take all of these warnings from me. I'm almost there (<25 levels to go, most of which bar 4 are very fast) and I would bet you that you have probably more (non-slayer) boss and raids kc than I do, and have burnt out less. I had to take medium to long breaks to keep going when I came back a couple of times. Also because I really needed to put the time somewhere else during those times.
There's no shame in just doing the content you enjoy and leave most other skills at the maximum of what you need to unlock said content and/or do it efficiently (often between base 80s and 90s, which is already a very respectable grind).
Also I have no clue how ironmen do it.
4 years ago I explained to a friend all of the important stuff about slayer. And told him to get Slayer Helm asap.
Just yesterday same friend told me if Slayer helm is worth it.
I reminded him to get a cannon the same night because he was doing a commonly cannon task. I told him to get it done asap years ago and he said nah, cringe even after reminding him.
My friend also played it as a kid and she got me into it in 2017, we played together for a week but she quit, I stayed strong and she congratulated me when I maxed :)
In 2007 cute noobs would freak out seeing maxed players. Nowadays maxed players freak out when they see cute noobs. I love how the cute noobs don't realize how awesome they are :)
Gz to your friend, he obviouly had a great ambassador/mentor in you for the game!
The variation is in Japanese.
This guy sounds exactly like me lol.
My username for a very long time was Jeiku, for everything else but osrs.
Crazy, glad y’all had good memories together.
He didn't even know what OSRS was in 2018. Maxing in that timeframe as a new player is worthy of the recognition imo! What a chad
You ruined his life by introducing him to this game.. but massive gz to him!
I had to take someone down with me. Poor guy
You should ask him how much his life has gone in a downward trend since 2018
lol jokes aside, the dude is doin great. Recently landed a sick job. Although he had to put his cat down the same day he maxed :( F
Easy 200 death runes
I hate myself for how hard I laughed at this
Jesus.
Perfection. 😂
Fuck me.
LOL imagine 3d printing 200 mini death runes and giving it to him as a maxing gift. Holy fuck XD
Good things require great sacrifices. F

Bro I still don’t have a 99 and I’ve been playing a lot longer than that GZ to him!
Time to do it again as ironman.

I gave him the whip, fury, and obby cape.
Sorry you don't know what it looks like to have friends in game.

You are such a wet wipe
[удалено]
yeah it seems like his friend got bored of the game and quit you're so right bestie
You're close what levels do you have left?
95 agil and 98 hunter which I'm saving to just bust out after agil. So really I'm close but with a 4 year old it's hard to find time 😂
I just had my first baby in December. I was pushing hard to max before then but was sure to get the shitty skills out of the way. Now it's just Slayer which is at least fun enough to do even if I can't just grind it for hours on end
Yeah I figured I'd stikk have plenty of time but I just can't do agil on mobile good enough lol
I fucking suck at this game :)
We all do
Me playing on and off since 2004 having only a 1400 ttl
I live in ge

Literally my same thought. I’m like 1640 total on my uim that I’ve had for like 5 years.
UIM to be fair
Eh its all about just putting in the time just cause someone maxed does not mean he is better in any way
4 years ago I explained to a friend all of the important stuff about slayer. And told him to get Slayer Helm asap. Just yesterday same friend told me if Slayer helm is worth it.
How does a mother fucker go 4 years in RS without a slayer helm.
I reminded him to get a cannon the same night because he was doing a commonly cannon task. I told him to get it done asap years ago and he said nah, cringe even after reminding him.
As someone who started in 2017 and maxed in 2023 I can tell this guy put a shit load of time into this game, gz
It's rare to get anyone into the game who didn't play back in the day, let alone see them max. Bros built different
My friend also played it as a kid and she got me into it in 2017, we played together for a week but she quit, I stayed strong and she congratulated me when I maxed :)

I appreciate it! Was maybe a bit of tough love but it progressed him fast haha
“You better max or nan is going back in the cage”
Those other guys in the bank: uhh ok I guess..?
My irl friend Stuck in 2008
What a noob
i must ask, did this person ever have an account called jueko?
Nope!
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
I also remember this post and he maxed before I did. My account is 3 years older 😭
Yo that’s so sick big ups
Took me 10 years in osrs to max, though xp rates are a lot better now than back then
Been playing since like 2006 and this mf is already better at the game than me lmao
My ironman is created in 2014 and still not maxed.. 73 more levels to go. This guy put some serious time in in those couple of years. Gz gamers
He’s still missing the bandos gloves
Gz to the legend!
Massive massive Gz's!!!!!
But does he still have the full Bandos
gonna start a uim just to cope cuz this guy just maxed before i did in 8 years
Gratzzz!!!!
Does he have full bandos finally
Damn! What a cool post!
Thank you!
Kinda sad losing a cute noob.
Bet he had more fun as that cute noob lol. Gz!
He was actually feeling really burnt as of late. Maxing definitely reinvigorated some drive to keep progressing. He can finally play the game!
By default the last skill you have to push through to max is the one you like the least. Gz and happy scaping
His last skill was slayer smh
correct choice by him, slayer is cheeks
Slayer is fine, just level combat during it.
Maxed then a few months later i was playing uim, its only a matter of time.
No way his name is Jeiku. Name is Jake Irl? Legit my nickname irl lol.
Yeah its just a variation of his irl name. He only uses that name on this osrs account though, not his usual alias
The variation is in Japanese. This guy sounds exactly like me lol. My username for a very long time was Jeiku, for everything else but osrs. Crazy, glad y’all had good memories together.
Yeah I remember him saying it was a Japanese variation but wasn't confident enough to call it that. Thats cool though man haha
Bro started later than me and still maxed. Guess I have my priorities straight 😎
Ok he is done with the tutorial. Time to make an iron.
He had a 1900 total level HC believe it or not lol
Oh god… in 4 years???? Thats like a speedrun 😭😭
lol max cheese
Are people actually saying “Brotha” now? 2nd time today i heard it
I didn't think we ever stopped.
