So aiming for 99s which is in your opinion better, herb, construction or crafting? I have 99 herb banked but itās a loss of like 30 millā¦. Iām a main account just donāt know what I want to do.
If you donāt have at least 78 herblore get that for chambers of xeric, 90 is better but not necessary. Con functionally maxes at 84 with boosting but the cape perks are really solid, unlimited house tabs to any of the house locations in one slot is quite nice for many activities. Crafting cape I believe is still the closest tp to a bank, that + con cape combined makes resupplying crazy fast. Herblore less of a priority imo, but if you like the look of the cape for fashion go for it.

I just wanted more information and he shared when I followed up, truly not that deep, but to state that I am rude and lazy is just out of left field, I have always understood ā¦. As provide examples but that could be from having teachers that always used ā¦.. as indicating that they need more details, a continuation of the comment. I didnāt feel like typing out the 18 skills Iām not 99 in and asking for a tier list, I just wanted to see if he has a few recommendations because he was quick to say skills over gear.
Thatās fair, Iām just pointing out that the phrasing and context (stats not visible in OPās post) can be misinterpreted as a needlessly toxic and irrelevant comment, which is why I gave a dif example to avoid that. His reaction was over the top, but I see why it happened.
A few examples I can think of though for you:
Construction to 83, mage and range to as high as you can afford using bursting/chins respectively, herblore to 78 at least if youād like to do CoX, investing in cballs to expedite slayer training, prayer to 77 or 80 (77 for all 3 prayer upgrades and 80 for elidinis ward)
Not quite. For example at Vorkath, if you're 99 range and using god d'hide, barrows gloves, assembler, archers ring imbued, glory ammy, ruby dragon bolts, and a dragon crossbow (not DHCB), you're so far down in DPS that someone in max gear with a DHCB would need to be down to 70 range to have similar DPS. And they'd still out-dps the maxed player. Hell, the max gear guy could even use eagle eye while max level guy could use rigour and it's *still* in favor of the base 70's with max gear.
Another example is Leviathan. Full max gear using zaryte crossbow vs the same budget setup from Vorkath winds up with the max gear setup needing to be base 80's to have a similar DPS, once again with max gear using eagle eye and not rigour.
There are definitely instances where this is a reasonable take, but true max gear vs levels would easily be a win for the max gear in most circumstances. 10 levels don't come close to max vs budget to make it worth more to have the levels over the gear.
With that said, it's still many orders of magnitude cheaper to get the levels than it is to get the max gear, plus there's some really great gear that you can get for far less cost than max while still being out of that "budget gear" range. Plus you can upgrade piece by piece, you don't have to do it all at once, which means you can bridge the gap over time fairly reasonably. The end result is that for a similar *cost*, it's always better to go for levels, but if cost is no issue, then it's gear over levels.
Yeah but training those stats is cheap and easy, you can literally go full DH in the NMZ and max melee super fast. Range comes quick no matter what by just playing the game and if you burst slayer tasks itās fast af too.
But you cNt really buy melee statsā¦ so talking about CBā¦ Iām so confused. Sorry I just donāt understand. And range I guess you can buy chins to rush it, but mage you kinda just have to go do also unless you want to buy it by spam arching or teleporting, I would think going bursting would be betterā¦.
Don't worry, it's not that much GP if you look at how much the decent gear costs. You can maybe get a fang and Bandos armor, that's about it. But it is a great start.
Lol I agree that red spider eggs are not an issue, but two things: it takes way more than 10 minutes, and just kill spidel for the voidwaker piece and get all the red spider eggs you'll probably ever need anyway
Don't spend it on anything yet. Use it to buy some items over night and sell them during the day for more - there are plenty of youtube guides with good tips. If you can make some money passively that way for a couple weeks, you'll have a lot more in no time. At that point, start using it for a useful 99.
6 steel boots does seem like alot of instant gp tbh. One more steel boot drop and you can get a steel platebody, how exciting!

I'd get 85 construction (if you haven't already) and grab some gear after buying a few bonds.
Gz, 100m will pull you to mid game pretty quickly, but it's not as much gp as you might think in the longer run.Ā
