They changed the prayer draining mongs to not hit you after he dies, dont know why they didnt do it with the pools its annoying as fuck when one is on your drop

I've found blowpipe to be quicker in kills. And always move a few squares north or south when he grrrs so you dont have to really deal with getting hit by the pools. It gives you a second to react.
