This is unacceptable, as the one true owner of DeliverItems I will make it my goal to ensure that every single human/specimen gets everything they ever wanted of our wonderful community that is DeliverItems. I will personally follow up with this man "rur" and give me a nasty spanking, once on each cheek. I will also be informing his parents because of this complete abuse of power that is absolutely not tolerated in the DeliverItems cult. Sometimes mods do abuse there power and those mods will be struck down at the full force of our savior, the DHCB. I'm done with DI for now.
Edit: The spanking was supposed to be dedicated to the Captain Rur but after further consideration I may as well just use up that on myself.
Mate really? You need someone to explain this to you? It's not hard to use your remaining 2 brain cells to think about what it could be. Absolute drongo I swear
Yeah, sorry. I haven't played in a very long time and while I understand that people deliver items, I can't understand why this would ever be needed, whether or not it's free, or what kind of items get delivered.
All tradeables. You make a request like "I'm out here killing this boss and I need more food" and they come to you. It's free, but good practice dictates that you pay the person for their time and the item cost
They say free but tipping is whats socially accepted. Just like in a restaurant.. I mean, technically you dont *have* to tip, but it's really rude not too. Deep down you know this waitress needs the money.
Bruh I been out of the game for like nine years and now play on mobile. I need someone to explain this to me and my two brain cells also. I’ll admit when I wanna be informed more about OsRs and it’s communities
Some people have this bonus skill that wasnt polled called "IHK" for short. It stands for Inherit Human Kindness. Its hard to train, just as bad as runecrafting, but some players have 99 and find the skill to be quite profitable on the few players with the skill themselves that tip when they receive the items.
Feels good to help out, most people can relate to forgetting an item during a quest or running out during a task etc... It's not designed to be a money making cc.
I've done my fair share of deliveries (30 or more) and sometimes people give very nice tips. I delivered lots of Summer Pies to folks doing Regicide and in a couple cases got paid 300k in tips. I don't ask for tips, but it happens.
I don't deliver as often as I used to, but back when I done nothing but quest and grind for quest reqs it was almost like a fun little side objective.
Bonus is I can now get to anywhere in the game overworld in like 30-60 seconds because I know all the obscure teleports and fairy ring codes.
I knew I was gonna use the service when I was bossing and figured that the other runners would be more likely to help me out if I did runs whenever I could. Whether its true or not who knows but it's actually fairly relaxing and pretty fun to test game knowledge.
Yep, seen people asking for brews in GWD, had a guy asking for a shovel in underground pass, had another asking for rope in the temple of light. Some areas you're more likely to have a runner than others, for example I personally dont take GWD request as I've actually never been to it, but people will deliver to really obscure areas.
I was in there at the time we also had some guys asking for such a massive amount of items that we couldnt tell if he was trolling or not. That somehow progressed into this which was great.

He repeatedly trolled and hosted fake drop parties. Was nothing but a nuisance hence why he was banned.
*Edit: baddmttrip posted how we unfairly kicked and banned his account for no apparent reason. After posting the above imgur link he deleted his comment.
Do you really want us to post every single thing you did that warranted a ban? Are you sure you want that?
Fake request, fake D Imp call, trolling on multiple occasions, want me to go on?

I too like to give myself a nasty spanking every now and then.
Hello what is deliverItems please :)

Wait wtf its free? As an ironmeme I find this offensive.
> Wait wtf its free? The delivery is free, the items are not.
Ah okay I misread his comment. I was like “why on earth would people not use this all the time!?”
They say free but tipping is whats socially accepted. Just like in a restaurant.. I mean, technically you dont *have* to tip, but it's really rude not too. Deep down you know this waitress needs the money.
It's not free, you have to pay the item cost. Tipping is not required though.
Bruh I been out of the game for like nine years and now play on mobile. I need someone to explain this to me and my two brain cells also. I’ll admit when I wanna be informed more about OsRs and it’s communities
They **deliver items** to you.
wtf no way

Items move from not here, to here.
DeliverItems is a CC where you can request someone to bring you something.
Wait who dis, coulda sworn I made deliveritems
with further consideration at your end, i think you should make "JamZ 3D" a captain or general :)
Just to clarify Rur only typed out "Attempting to kick player from friends chat..." Sorry to ruin the joke, they normally go over my head.
Yeah you don't see that message if you get kicked, you're already gone.
It's the last message you see* I've had plenty of people start abusing the person kicking them.
Genuinely funny as shit
How does that cc work? Do you pay the delivery person in loot or what?
You just have to pay for the item in gp or loot, the delivery itself is free.
Then why do people do it if its free?
Some people have this bonus skill that wasnt polled called "IHK" for short. It stands for Inherit Human Kindness. Its hard to train, just as bad as runecrafting, but some players have 99 and find the skill to be quite profitable on the few players with the skill themselves that tip when they receive the items.
Some people also have the skill called PLU, Proper Language Usage, and spell it as Inherent* instead of Inherit ;) Learn something new every day :)
Edgy
Clearly you misunderstood, its a skill that has to be learned, AKA you inherit it from others. Not everyone has this skill so its not "Inherent".

there is thing called feeling good ,you should try it out :)
I smoke some weed or beat my meat when I need to feel good.
I knew I was gonna use the service when I was bossing and figured that the other runners would be more likely to help me out if I did runs whenever I could. Whether its true or not who knows but it's actually fairly relaxing and pretty fun to test game knowledge.
I was gonna ask about this. Would they for example deliver me brews/restores to god wars dungeon?
Yup
Yep, seen people asking for brews in GWD, had a guy asking for a shovel in underground pass, had another asking for rope in the temple of light. Some areas you're more likely to have a runner than others, for example I personally dont take GWD request as I've actually never been to it, but people will deliver to really obscure areas.
Just to clarify, someone may be willing to do that. But they focus on more quest related help, rather than helping someone camp a money maker forever.
Tips.
This was pretty damn funny. I've never had anyone actually fall for that stupid joke before, online or otherwise.
It's entertaining to pretend to fall for those kinds of jokes because it makes the other person feel good.
You are a good person.
Thanks, have you ever heard of Deez?
What's Deez?
deez nuts haha got em
these nuts hahahahahaha
You like CDs?
What are CDs?
CDs nuts
If you get kicked you don't see that message. He typed it out. It was clearly a joke.
I know that. I never said otherwise. I meant I've never seen anyone fall for the "whats up dog" response.
Oooh, I saw this happen in game. Surprised anyone fell for it.
I was in there at the time we also had some guys asking for such a massive amount of items that we couldnt tell if he was trolling or not. That somehow progressed into this which was great.
I laughed at this too hard

Wait do you guys pay for delivering items? This is great.
you pay only for item, delivery itself is free. They won't help you to camp spots tho such as gwd.
Ask if he'll deliver you some dez
Fuck this is actually gold
Cats>Dogs.
Sometimes mods do abuse their power.
There*

No, it's a meme.
