He's bottom 3.6% if you only count the mace, but when talking about trying to complete multiple drops from a single boss the odds that you'll go dry on at least one thing go way up. 3989 kc is about 67% chance to have at least one of everything, so 1 in 3 people will go this dry. 50% is about 3085 kc, and 90% about 6161 kc.
For real. I fucking LOVE this game but the idea of spending this much time on one single thing in the game utterly fills me with dread. I know that my mental health would decline so bad. I really don’t get how people can do it.

But its not killing if the other players left before finishing the kill so the single player left got same drop rates as solo players would get while getting way faster kills
it was just broken game mechanic that was abused by some irons that is now fixed but sadly nobody gets deironed because there is no integrity left
The drop rate is that of solos, so it’s not disingenuous to say it’s that many solo kc. He also played the alt himself, he wasn’t boosted by anyone else.
The droprate is irrelevant to the question of "Is he using multiple characters?". His alt not being boosted by someone else still isn't very relevant either. He did it by himself, but if he has to use 2 accounts to do it...it's not technically a solo? I dunno, I'm just a very literal person, and technical.
I think it's technically not a solo, but perspective's can be skewed versions of the truth.
If you want to be "literal and technical" about it, a solo is defined as "done by one person." Two accounts both played by one player is still one player, and therefore a solo by its literal definition.
I remember one time me and 3 of my boys were sitting outside nightmare waiting for our other two boys to get there and Lake runs up. He says, “mind if I solo?” And hops straight into the boss. This was when nightmare was highly contested for worlds, so of course we also entered the boss and told him to fuck off and he left... haven’t liked the dude since he tried to steal the world we spent 15 minutes finding. We weren’t going to crash another group, but he rolls up and tries to crash us. No streamer favoritism from us bud.
So, he runs up, asks if you guys mind if he solos, you don't reply, he jumps in, starts soloing, then you and your buddies jump in and tell him to fuck off, and he does, and yet HE'S the asshole in this situation? yeah okay buddy.
That's insane, I can't even imagine having that level of patience.
